Diamonds are a girl's best friend :-)

הציפורניים שלי עדיין לא במיטבן, אבל כבר יש שיפור ניכר משבוע שעבר ואני מקווה שהן יחזרו לעצמן בקרוב......בינתיים, אני משתדלת לא להציק להן יותר מדי וזה אומר בלי נצנצים כבדים ובלי קישוטי ציפורניים למיניהם, עד שהן יתחזקו שוב.

אז להיום, החלטתי לנסות אחד מהלקים של Essie ועוד לא יצא לי להשתמש בו, שנקרא Heart My JR Jewels – הלק הזה שייך לקולקציית Loves diamonds by Judith Ripka שכוללת בסה"כ 3 לקים – את זה, עוד אחד אדום ועוד אחד ורוד בהיר. קניתי את הקולקציה בארה"ב ועוד לא ממש יצא לי לנסות אותה. באחד הימים כשהיינו בטיול, ניסיתי את הורוד הבהיר ככה בחפוז והוא יצא ממש לא אחיד, אז התבאסתי על הקולקציה הזאת, אבל עכשיו החלטתי לתת לה הזדמנות כמו שצריך.

אז ככה – הלק הזה הוא בצבע חום אדמדם כהה, במרקם קרמי בגימור מבריק. אין בצבע הזה משהו מיוחד בעיניי ויש לי כבר כמה לקים האלה, אז התרגשות גדולה אני לא יכולה להביא לכן הפעם.....אבל – אני כן יכולה להגיד שממש אהבתי את הברק שלו, הגימור ממש מושלם והמריחה שלו היתה מאוד קלה, שתי שכבות הספיקו כדי להביא למראה כהה, אטום ואחיד, כך שבסך הכל אני מאוד מרוצה ממנו.

Essie - Heart My JR Jewels

My nails are still not in their best, but I can see improvement from last week and I hope they will soon be in a normal length…..meantime, I try not to mess with them a lot and that means no heavy glitters and no nail art, until they'll get stronger again.

So for today, I decided to try one of my Essies that I haven't had the chance to use yet – Heart My JR Jewels from the Loves diamonds by Judith Ripka collection. This collection includes this one, another red one and another pale pink. I bought this collection on my trip and I still haven't used any of the polishes. When we were on our trip, I tried one day the pink one hastily and I didn't like its application at all, so when I came back, I wasn't enthused to try them, but now I decided to give it a second chance.

So – this one is a dark reddish-brown in a crème texture and bright finish. There's nothing very special in this color to my opinion, and I already got a few in this shade, so I can show you big excitement this time…..but – I really do love its glossy finish very much and its application was very easy, two coats were enough to create an opaque and dark look so overall, I'm very pleased with this one.

USA stories - Chapter 10 and last !!!

ממש ממול המוזיאון לתולדות הטבע, נמצא הסנטרל פארק – טיילנו בשבילים היפים של הפארק, ראינו אנשים רצים, הולכים, רוכבים על אופניים, מטיילים עם הכלבים שלהם או סתם יושבים מחובקים על ספסל, מצאנו פינה יפה ליד האגם וראינו אנשים שטים בסירות וברווזים בשורות שוחים ביניהם – בהחלט מקום פסטורלי שמאפשר לך לנשום קצת ירוק באמצע העיר הסואנת הזאת:

Right across the museum, you can find one of the entries to Central Park – we walked in the park's beautiful paths, saw people running, walking, riding a bike, walking with their dogs or just sitting hugged on a bench, we found a beautiful spot near the lake and saw people sailing in boats and ducks swimming between them – this is for sure a pastoral place that allows you to inhale some green in this busy city:

באחד הימים יצאנו לשיט מסביב למנהטן – שיט זה כל כך כיף J בדיוק כשהתחיל השיט, התחיל לרדת גשם, אז התמונות יצאו די אפרוריות – אבל איזה יופי זה לראות את כל העיר הזאת ממרחק, הא ?

גם את השיט הזה עשיתי בפעם הקודמת, אבל זה אחד הדברים שפשוט אי אפשר לוותר עליהם שם, זה כל כך יפה....

In one of the days, we went to a cruise around Manhattan – cruise is so much fun ! Right when we started to sail, it started to rain, so the pictures turned out to be pretty grayish – but that is so beautiful to see this city from a distance, isn't it ?

I did this cruise in my last time there too, but this is one of the things I just can pass there, it is so beautiful….

בדרום מנהטן נמצא הבאטרי פארק – פארק קטן וחמוד שממנו יש נוף נהדר לכיוון פסל החירות. קנינו פרצל, ראינו מופע רחוב ממש מושקע שאירגנו שם כמה חבר'ה וצילמנו את פסל החירות כמו תיירים מתלהבים, כאילו לא היינו שם רק יום קודם וכאילו אין תמונות פי אלף יותר טובות שלו באינטרנט...חחחח......אני נהניתי J משם המשכנו לכיוון הוול סטריט ולעוד כמה מקומות באזור.

In south Manhattan there's Battery Park – a cute little park where you can find a great view to the Statue of Liberty. We bought pretzel. Saw a very nice street show and took pictures of Statue of Liberty like enthusiastic tourists, as if we weren't there just yesterday and like there are no million better pictures of it on the web …lol….I had fun J We walked from there to the Wall Street and some more places in the area.

זהו. בזה תם ונשלם סיפור הטיול שלנו. היה כיף אדיר, היו המון חוויות והרבה אנשים נחמדים שפגשנו במהלך הדרך. בכלל, בכל מקום שהיינו בו קיבלו אותנו בסבר פנים יפות ועם חיוך, השירות היה אדיב

בכל מקום וכמעט בכל מלון יצא לנו לנהל שיחה עם אנשים מקסימים ונעימים ואין ספק שהיחס החם שקיבלנו בהחלט הוסיף לחוויות הטיול שלנו.

יש עוד המון מקומות שאני רוצה לראות בארה"ב והמון מקומות שאני אשמח לחזור אליהם, אז.....לחיי הטיול הבא J

Well, that's it. This is the end of my trip's stories. It was awesome, we had a great time and there were many wonderful experiences and lots of nice people we met during our trip. This is the place to say, that wherever we were, we were always warmly welcomed, people always smiled to us and service was polite everywhere. In almost every hotel, we had a chance to meet charming people and have a talk with them and there is no doubt that it absolutely added more fun for our experience.

There are so many more places I want to see in the states and so many places I would love to visit again so……to the next trip ! Cheers J

USA stories - Chapter 9 - New York New York !!!

אז אוטוטו מסתיים סיפור הטיול שלי בארה"ב.....

את הטיול סיימנו בצד השני של ארה"ב - בניו יורק !

אחחחח.........מה אני כבר יכולה לספר לכן על ניו יורק שלא סופר קודם.......

זאת הפעם השניה שלי בניו יורק ואני משערת שזאת לא האחרונה. עיר תוססת, מדהימה ומלאת חיים.

ישנו שם במלון שנמצא ממש על הטיימס סקוור והאווירה שם היתה פשוט מופלאה ! אין כמו לחזור למלון אחרי יום ארוך של טיול ברחבי מנהטן ולצאת בערב לאזור המדהים הזה.

ישנו שם 5 לילות ובכל ערב בילינו שם במקום אחר. באחד הלילות גם היינו במופע "שרק" בברודווי שהיה אדיר !!! אני ממליצה בחום לכל מי שאהב את הסרטים !!!

את הימים בילינו כל פעם באזור אחר ומכיוון שלא הצלחתי לרכז את הכל בפוסט אחד, אני אראה לכן את ניו יורק בשני חלקים, אחד היום ואחד מחר. אז הנה זה מתחיל:

נעים מאוד, הטיימס סקוור. ההצטלבות המפורסמת בין שד' ברודווי לשדרה השביעית המתאפיינת בהמון פרסומות ענק מוארות, במדרגות אדומות מוארות ובשלל מלונות ומסעדות. יש במקום הזה אנרגיות מטורפות והוא שוקק חיים בכל שעות היום. צריך רק להתיישב על המדרגות האדומות שם ולצפות בכל החגיגה שהולכת שם – אנשים מכל הסוגים והמינים, פרסומות ענקיות מכל עבר (אתן יכולות לראות בתמונה איזה פרסומת אני מצאתי שם בין היתר....חחח), מופעי רחוב, יחצנים שלא מפסיקים לנסות למכור לכם כרטיסים למופעים שמתקיימים בערב והמון המון צבעים ואורות שיוצרים אווירה קסומה.

עוד צבעים שהייתי חייבת להביא לכם, היו הסוכריות בחנות הגדולה של M&M שנמצאת שם, שפשוט אי אפשר להתעלם ממנה:

So my USA stories are about to come to an end…..

We closed our trip in the other side of the states – in New York !

Ohhhh…..what can I tell you about NY that you don't already know ?......

This was my second time in New York and I guess it won't be the last. Such an amazing and vibrant city. We stayed there in a hotel that was located right on the Times Square and the atmosphere there was just amazing ! There's nothing like returning to the hotel after a long day of traveling across Manhattan and go out at night to this fabulous area.

We stayed in NY for 5 nights and every night we hanged out in another place. We also saw the "Shrek" show in Broadway in one of the nights and it was awesome !!! I warmly recommend this show to those of you who love the movies !!!

In the days we visited a different area every day and since I didn't managed to gather all in one post, I'll show you NY in two parts, one today and another one tomorrow. So here it starts:

The Times Square. The famous intersection at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue which is known by its huge number of animated neon and LED signs, restaurants and hotels. There are crazy energies in this place and you just need to sit on the red steps and watch all the people, the neon signs, the street shows and the many colors and lights that create together a magical atmosphere (can you see what neon sign did I captured ? lol.... ). More colors that I had to share with you were at the big M&M store there, which you just can't ignore:

באחד הבקרים ביקרנו בשדרה החמישית, שם אפשר למצוא המון חנויות ובתי כלבו גדולים וגם את בניין האמפייר סטייט המפורסם שאפשר לעלות אליו ולראות נוף מדהים ואת מרכז רוקפלר שמצולם כאן בתמונות:

In one of the mornings, we went to the fifth avenue, where you can find lots of stores and department stores and also the Empire State building (you can go to its top and see an amazing view) and Rockefeller Center, which you can see in these pictures:

יום נוסף הקדשנו לביקור המוזיאון האמריקאי לתולדות הטבע (אתן בטח מכירות אותו בתור המוזיאון שבו עובד רוס מ"חברים" J ) – אני חייבת וידוי כאן, שאני לא כזאת חובבת מוזיאונים בדרך כלל, אבל המוזיאון הזה פשוט מדהים ! בפעם הקודמת שהייתי בניו יורק ביקרתי בו לראשונה וגם הפעם הרגשתי שאני חייבת לבקר בו שוב. אני לא יודעת מאיפה להתחיל לתאר אותו – זה מוזיאון ענק, בן כמה קומות ויש בו המון תצוגות מרהיבות של בעלי חיים (פוחלצים אם אני לא טועה) בסביבה הטבעית שלהם, שלדי דיטנוזאורים, תצוגות על המפץ הגדול, על תרבויות שונות ועוד....המקום הזה ממש מרשים והסתובבנו בו כמה שעות ויכולנו להמשיך עוד, אם התכניות לאותו יום לא היו דוחקות בנו להמשיך. הנה טעימה מהמוזיאון:

Another day was dedicated to another part in Manhattan, where we visited the American Museum of Natural History (you probably know it as the museum where Ross from "Friends" used to work J) - I have to confess that I'm not such a big fan of museums, but this museum is just stunning ! I visited this museum last time I was in NY and also this time I felt I have to visit there again. I don't know how to start describing it – it is a huge museum with several stores and you can find there gorgeous exhibits of African, Asian and North American mammals in their natural environment, dinosaurs fossils, exhibits about the big band and different cultures and more….This place is really impressive and we hanged there for a few hours. Here is a taste from the museum:

Zoya Suvi and my broken nails

את Suvi של זויה קיבלתי מקיטי בחבילה האחרונה שהיא שלחה לי לפני כמה חודשים. איך שראיתי אותו, מיד התאהבתי בו וזה היה הירוק הראשון שאהבתי. שמתי אותו כבר כמה פעמים ובכל פעם כשרציתי לעשות סווטץ' שלו, קרה משהו שבגללו החלטתי לוותר.

וגם הפעם, בדיוק כשרציתי לשים אותו ולצלם לכן תמונות שלו, נשברה לי ציפורן אחת עד הבסיס ועוד ציפורן נסדקה קשות. אבל הפעם, החלטתי לא לוותר ולהראות לכן אותו בכל מקרה, אז למרות שאני חושבת שהיה מגיע לו סווטץ' יפה יותר, קבלו את סובי !

Suvi הוא ירוק שימרי די כהה. המריחה שלו היתה נוחה וכדי להגיע למראה שבבקבוק היה צורך בשלוש שכבות (בשכבה הראשונה הוא יצא חצי שקוף).

לצערי הרב, אחרי שהורדתי אותו, נאלצתי לקצר גם את הציפורן השניה שנסדקה כי היא נתקעה לי בסיבים של הסוודר והסדק גדל ממש (למי שזה קרה לי, בטח יודעת למה אני מתכוונת) ומכיוון שלא יכולתי להישאר עם שתי ציפורניים קצרות ושתיים ארוכות, נאלצתי לקצר את כל הציפורניים ועכשיו אני מתחילה לגדל אותן מחדש L.......אני מתנחמת בזה שהזמנתי 2 לקים טיפוליים מסדרת ה – Nail Envy של OPI שיעזרו לי לשקם אותן בצורה טובה יותר, למרות שנראה שבקצב הזה הם יגיעו רק בעוד כמה שבועות......

Zoya - Suvi

I received Zoya Suvi from Kitty, in our last swap a couple of months ago. In the moment I saw it, I fell in love with it and that was my first beloved green polish. I already used it several times and each time I wanted to make its swatch, something happened and I gave up.

And this time also, exactly when I planned to apply it and take some pictures of it, I broke one of my nails to the base and another nail was severely damaged. But this time, I decided not to give up and show it to you anyway, so although I think it deserves a better swatch, please welcome Suvi !

Suvi is a pretty dark shimmering green. Its application was good and I needed 3 coats to get the look that in the bottle (in one coats it's sheer).

Unfortunately, after I removed it, I had to shorten also my other cracked nail, because it had stuck in my sweater's fibers and the crack got bigger (if it happened to you, you know what I'm talking about) and since I couldn't have 2 short nails and 2 long ones, I had to shorten all of my nail and now I start growing them back L……I'm comforting in the fact that I ordered 2 OPI Nail Envy treatments which will help me to grow them in healthier way, although it looks like I'm going to get them just in a couple of weeks…..

Last call for the New Year's Eve Giveaway + A little update

איזה שבוע הזוי היה לי ! נראה לי כאילו אתמול היה יום ראשון !

השגרה בהחלט נשברה לי השבוע וזה כלל אפילו גיחה קצרה לכינרת באמצע השבוע שהיתה גם הזויה, אבל גם כיפית ומהנה במיוחד (אני אפרסם תמונות בהמשך) <3

ובמסגרת הריחוף השבועי הזה, גם לא הספקתי לעדכן פה ולפרסם לכן את הפוסטים שרציתי – אז אני מתנצלת בפני כל אלה שציפו למצוא פה משהו מעניין השבוע J

אבל הנה חזרתי ולפני שהשנה הזאת נגמרת, אני רוצה לאחל לכולכן...

ששנת 2010 תהיה לכן שנה מדהימה, כיפית ומוצלחת ! שתהיה שנה מלאה בבשורות טובות, בשמחות גדולות, בהגשמה עצמית ובהמון חיוכים ! שנה מלאה באושר, אהבה ושמחת חיים ושכל מה שאנחנו מאחלות לעצמנו יתגשם !

אז יש לי מלא דברים שאני רוצה להספיק לעשות היום עד הערב, כולל להכין ארוחת ערב טעימה ולהספיק לעשות מקלחת מפנקת עם מלא קרמים....חחחח

I had such an odd week ! It seems to me like yesterday was Sunday !

My routine definitely had broken this week and that included even a short trip to Lake Kinneret in the middle of the week, which was also odd, but also fun and especially enjoyable (I'll show you some pictures later on) <3

And with all of those things, I didn't manage to post here and show you the things I wanted to show you, so I apologize to all of you who expected to find something interesting here this week J

But now I'm back and a moment before this year is over....

I wish you that year 2010 will be an amazing, successful and fun year ! May this year be full of good news, happiness, self fulfillment and lots of smiles ! A year of joy and love and may all the things we wish for ourselves will come true !

And of course – a colorful year, with many new polishes, interesting collections, different textures and lots of pictures and stories J

I send you all a big hug and a kiss !!!

And now, after all the greeting, how do you plan to celebrate tonight ? Going out ? Staying at home ? With friends ? Alone? Dressing up or wrap yourself in a blanket in front of the TV ?

We are going to have a calm evening. We decided not to go out this year and instead, to have a romantic evening at home, with dinner, movie and more surprises……

So I've got tons of things to do until the evening, including making a delicious dinner and take a good shower with lots of crèmes…lol
