More swatches from Chocaddict

Here are two more polishes that I received from the lovely Chocaddict:

Miss Helen - Gris

This one is from a brand I haven't tried yet - Miss Helen and it's called Gris – a taupe crème. At first, it reminded me of Essie Mink Muffs but a quick look at these two bottle showed e that they are not the same. This one is more grey and darker than Essie. The application was easy, although it's a small bottle (7 ml) and sometimes the brushes in these kinds of bottles can be a bit annoying. Two coats were enough for an opaque look and you get a glossy crème finish.

הלק הזה הוא של חברה שעדיין לא יצא לי לנסות – Miss Helen והוא נקרא Gris – מעין חום אפרפר טאופי שכזה במרקם קרמי. בהתחלה הוא הזכיר לי את Mink Muffs של Essie אבל מבט חטוף על שניהם הבהיר לי שהם ממש לא אותו דבר. הלק הזה של מיס הלן הוא כהה יותר אפור יותר מזה של אסי.

המריחה שלו היתה ממש נוחה, למרות שמדובר בבקבוק קטן (7 מ"ל) ולפעמים המברשות שלהם יכולות להיות קצת מעצבנות. שתי שכבות הספיקו למראה אטום ומתקבל מראה קרמי עם ברק יפה.

Bourjois - Shade 15

Bourjois 1 second nail polish shade 15 I think – lets start with this stunning glitter bottle which captured me immediately. This is a charming pink with lots of tiny silvery glitter inside – it reminded me of Barbie J

Then came the super wide brush which surprised me, I totally didn't expect that. A very wide brush with round edges which supposed to cover the entire nail in one stroke. So I used more than one stroke but I was definitely surprised for good with its comfort and the good part is that you can easily get a perfect application with it. The drying time was fast and two coats achieved an opaque and a doll-like look.

Bourjois 1 second nail polish shade 15 - אני חושבת שזה המספר. נתחיל מהבקבוק המהמם והנוצץ שכבש אותי בשניה שראיתי אותו. הלק עצמו הוא בצבע ורוד מקסים עם המון נצנצים כסופים קטנטנים בתוכו – לי הוא הזכיר את ברבי J. אח"כ הגיעה המברשת הסופר רחבה שהפתיעה אותי, לזה לא ציפיתי. מברשת ממש רחבה ומעוגלת בקצוות שאמורה לכסות את הציפורן במשיחת מכחול אחת. אז לא בדיוק הסתפקתי באחת, אבל בהחלט הופתעתי מהנוחות שלה והקטע הטוב הוא שבקלות אפשר להגיע איתה לצורת מריחה מושלמת – אתן יודעות, בחלק התחתון של הציפורן, זה שקרוב לקיוטיקל ולא תמיד יוצא מושלם ואז צריך לתקן ? אז כאן הרבה יותר קל להגיע למראה מושלם בזכות המברשת. זמן הייבוש היה יחסית מהיר ושתי שכבות הספיקו למראה אטום ויפה ובובתי ביותר.

The beginning of a romance.....

I've never tried Smashbox eyeshadows before, but I heard some good things about them and when I saw this Lagoon eyeshadow in that post, I decided it has to be mine J

So I went straight to StrawberryNET and had my first purchase from them. The lipstick you see was sent to me as a gift for my first order, how nice of them, ha ?

After checking some swatches in the blogosphere, I decided I must (yes, must ! hhahaha) order also another gorgeous eyeshadow I saw, which called Minx and than I stopped myself and decided that that would be enough, until the next order J

The package arrived after 10 days and the eyeshadows look exactly like I imagined !

These are blendable eyeshadows with velvety touch and good pigment, which come in a charming packaging.

The Lagoon is a pretty dark grey, with turquoise shimmer and glitter. The look you get is of a greenish grey with tiny glitter.

The minx is a taupe with a strong purple undertone. Its pigment seems to me even stronger than the Lagoon and this color is absolutely gorgeous and so useful, I'm really in love with both of them and I think this is not the end of my romance with Smashbox…J

את החבילה הזאת הזמנתי בעקבות פוסט שקראתי בבלוג http://danrasvault.blogspot.com/ של דנרה המקסימה.

את הצלליות של סמאשבוקס אף פעם לא יצא לי לנסות, אבל שמעתי עליהן לא פעם ביקורות טובות וכשראיתי בפוסט הזה את הצללית הזאת, שנקראת Lagoon, החלטתי שהיא חייבת להיות שלי J

אז אצתי רצתי לסטרוברי וביצעתי את הרכישה הראשונה שלי משם (כן, כן, לא ייאמן שעד עכשיו הייתי בתולת סטרוברי אבל...לא עוד ! חחחח). והשפתון שאתן רואות נשלח לי כמתנה על ההזמנה הראשונה שלי באתר, כמה נחמד מצידם, הא ?

אחרי שבדקתי כמה סווטצ'ים של הצלליות ברחבי הבלוגוספירה, החלטתי שאני חייבת ( כן, חייבת ! חחחחח) גם להזמין צללית נוספת שקרצה לי שנקראת minx וכאן עצרתי את עצמי וסיכמתי שדי, עד לפעם הבאה J

ההזמנה הגיעה תוך שבוע וחצי בערך והצלליות נראו בדיוק כמו שדמיינתי אותן ! אלו צלליות אבקה דחוסות, עם מגע קטיפתי ועם פיגמנט טוב שבאות באריזה מקסימה.

ה- Lagoon היא צללית בצבע אפור די כהה, עם שימר טורקיז ונצנצים. המראה שמתקבל הוא מעין אפור-ירקרק עם נצנצים קטנטנים.

ה- minx היא צללית בצבע חום- אפור עם תת גוון סגול דומיננטי. הפיגמנט שלה היה נראה לי אפילו חזק יותר מהשניה והצבע פשוט מהמם וכל כך שימושי, אני ממש מאוהבת בשתיהן ונראה לי שזה לא סוף הרומן שלי עם סמאשבוקס J

הצלליות בהנחה עכשיו בסטרוברי והן עלו לי 56 ש"ח ליחידה והמשלוח - חינם.

איך מזמינים ?

חלק גדול מכן כבר בטח מכיר את סטרוברי ואני יודעת שחלקכן מזמינות משם באופן קבוע, אבל לטובת אלו שעדיין לא מכירות – אתן יכולות למצוא את הקישור לאתר בעמודה הימנית בבלוג (יש גם באנר שכתוב בו Make up וגם באנר קטן שכתוב בו StrawberryNET).

Careline No. 358 v. OPI Holiday Glow

I'm taking a little break from the packages for a post I've promised to one of my beloved readers, so – Meital, this post is for you !

Careline No. 358 v. OPI Holiday Glow !

For a start, I'm bringing you some pictures of these two polishes in separate and I'll say right now – they are both gorgeous to my opinion ! Please notice the fact that I didn't take the pictures of these two at the same time and with the same lightning, so the best comparison would be in the pictures I took with both of them on the same hand.

I wrote all the things I had to say on Holiday Glow in this post….

And about Careline – this one is a very rich dark brown with copper shimmer and tons of tiny copper and silver glitter. In a strong and direct light you can even see colorful glitter (I took one picture to show you this) but don't expect to see that in regular light.

The application was fine, a bit sticky but not an issue and it stayed very nice on my nails for the three days that I wore it.

It's almost opaque in the first coat and two coats will do a perfect job. Also look how glossy it is, and that's without a topcoat !

The truth is I thought these two will be more similar, but when I applied them both on one hand, I could see the differences.

Still, in a regular room light they look very similar, not dupes but very close. In sunlight it's a different story and you can really see the difference, but since we are not standing all day long with our nails in certain angle to the sun, I thought it could be interesting for you.

In the last pictures I did the comparison with the two polishes on the same hand – Careline on pinky and middle and OPI on ring and index.

Well, I told you about the similarity, so what's different ?

Careline has a copper undertone and OPI has an eggplant undertone and its glitter are bigger.

Careline was almost opaque after the first coat and 2 coats were needed for complete opacity, while OPI wasn't close to be opaque in the first coat and needed 3 coats.

Careline has a glossier finish than OPI.

Careline is slightly darker than OPI.

Application wise, I liked OPI better than Careline because of the brush, it was more comfortable for me.

Durability wise, they both held very nicely on me for 3 days.

In conclusion – I really like them both – I like the OPI's eggplant undertone and the fact that its glitter are bigger and I love Careline's glossy finish and the fact that it has more depth.

אני אעשה הפוגה קצרה מהחבילות לטובת פוסט שהבטחתי לאחת מהקוראות האהובות שלי, אז- מיטל, הפוסט הזה הוא בשבילך !

קרליין מס' 358 v. OPI Hoilday Glow !

בתור התחלה, אני מביאה לכן תמונות של שני הלקים האלו בנפרד וכבר עכשיו אני אגיד – שניהם מהממים לדעתי ! שימו לב רק לעובדה ששני הלקים צולמו בזמנים שונים ולא באותה תאורה, אז ההשוואה הטובה ביותר תהיה בתמונות שצילמתי אותם יחד על יד אחת.

על Holiday Glow כבר כתבתי בפוסט הזה את כל מה שהיה לי להגיד.....

לגבי קרליין – מדובר על אחד מהלקים הישנים יותר של קרליין, לא מהסדרות החדשות שיצאו גם עם שמות ולכן אין שם, יש רק מספר – 358. חום כהה עם שימר נחושת והמון נצנצים קטנים כסופים ובצבע נחושת, מאוד עשיר. באור ממש חזק וישיר אפשר לראות אפילו נצנצים צבעוניים (צילמתי לכן תמונה אחת כדי להמחיש) אבל אל תצפו לראות את זה באור רגיל.

המריחה שלו היתה בסדר, טיפה צמיגית, אבל לא באופן קיצוני וגם מבחינת עמידות הוא החזיק יפה במהלך שלושת הימים שהייתי איתו. הוא כמעט אטום כבר בשכבה ראשונה ושתי שכבות יעשו כאן את העבודה כמו שצריך. תראו גם כמה הגימור שלו מבריק, וזה בלי טופקואוט !

האמת שחשבתי ששני הלקים האלו יהיו יותר דומים, אבל כששמתי את שניהם על יד אחת, ראיתי שבהחלט יש ביניהם הבדל.

בגדול, באור רגיל שני הצבעים האלה נראים די דומה, הם ממש לא זהים אבל הם מאוד קרובים. באור שמש זה כבר סיפור אחר וההבדל יותר ניכר, אבל מכיוון שרובנו לא עומדות כל היום עם הציפורניים בזוית מסוימת של שמש, ובאור רגיל הם נראים די דומה (המראה הכללי – חום כהה עם נצנצים עדינים), חשבתי שתשמחו לדעת שיש תחליף זול יותר ולא פחות יפה ללק המקסים הזה של OPI.

בתמונות התחתונות צילמתי לכן את ההשוואה בין שני הלקים - קרליין על הזרת והאמה, OPI על הקמיצה והאצבע.

אז מה דומה כבר אמרתי ועכשיו – מה שונה ?

אם אמרנו שלקרליין יש תת גוון נחושת, אז ל OPI יש תת גוון חצילי והנצנצים שלו יותר גדולים.

הלק של קרליין היה כמעט אטום כבר בשכבה ראשונה ונדרשו 2 שכבות לתוצאה מושלמת, בעוד שהלק של OPI ממש לא אטום בשכבה ראשונה וכדי להגיע לתוצאה מושלמת נדרשות 3 שכבות.

הגימור של הלק של קרליין מבריק יותר מזה של OPI.

הלק של קרליין קצת כהה יותר מהלק של OPI.

את המריחה של OPI אהבתי יותר, בעיקר בגלל המברשת, היא היתה נוחה לי יותר.

הנצנצים של קרליין קטנים יותר מהנצנצים של OPI.

מבחינת עמידות, שניהם החזיקו עליי מעמד יפה 3 ימים.

לסיכום, אני ממש אוהבת את שניהם – אצל OPI אני אוהבת את הגוון החצילי שלו ואת העובדה שהנצנצים קצת יותר בולטים. בקרליין אני אוהבת את הגימור המבריק ולצבע נראה שיש יותר

עומק והוא נראה עשיר.

אז מה אתן חושבות ?

OPI Holiday Glow

הלק היום הוא אחד מהלקים שקיבלתי בחבילה מניקול המקסימה – רציתי אותו מהרגע שראיתי שאותו לראשונה והייתי כל כך שמחה כשמצאתי אותו בחבילה ממנה !

אז הנה הכרות רשמית – OPI Holiday Glow מקולקציית החגים 2009 של OPI – הוא מעין חום כהה על בסיס אדמדם, אולי אפילו אפשר להגיד קצת חצילי...טוב, אתן כבר יודעות שלפעמים קשה להגדיר במדוייק את הגוון של חלק מהלקים, אבל זה בעצם מה שהופך אותם לכל כך מיוחדים, לא ? אז זה בהחלט נכנס אצלי להגדרה של מיוחד ! ולמי שרוצה את ההגדרה השטחית יותר – בגדול הוא נראה חום כהה עם נצנצים J

יש בו המוןןןןןן נצנצים קטנים וזהובים שבהחלט נותנים כאן את הטוויסט והכל ביחד יוצר מראה מקורי, חגיגי ומהמם !

מבחינת המריחה, יש כאן צורך בשלוש שכבות כדי להגיע למראה שבתמונות. למי שקשה לה עם זה, הוא נראה טוב ואטום גם בשתי שכבות, אבל לדעתי השכבה השלישית מביאה למראה המושלם. זמן הייבוש בין שכבה לשכבה הוא די מהיר, כך שמבחינת זמן זה לא ממש קריטי.

מה שממש אהבתי בלק הזה, מלבד זה שהוא מהמם בפני עצמו, זה שאין לי עוד לק שדומה לו. אין לי בכלל גוון שנראה כמו זה בכל האוסף שלי וזה ממש כיף למצוא צבע חדש, כזה יפה ועוד עם נצנצים.....חחחח

ובנוסף, הוא מסוג הלקים שמתאימים לי גם כשאין לי חשק למשהו צעקני מדי, ובאותו זמן, הוא מתאים גם כשבא לי משהו דרמטי יותר לערב....

לסיכום - אני ממש אוהבת את הלק הזה J

OPI - Holiday Glow

Today's polish is another one of the polishes I've received from the lovely Nicole – I wanted this one from the moment I first saw it and I was so happy to find it in the package from her !

So here's a formal introduction - OPI Holiday Glow from OPI Holiday Wishes Collection 2009 – this is a dark brown with reddish base, maybe I could say even a little eggplant... well, you already know that sometimes is difficult to define precisely the shade of some polishes, but that is what makes them so special, isn't it ? So it certainly came into my definition of special! For those who want the more superficial definition - it looks like a dark brown with glitter J

It has tonsssss of gold glitters and it certainly gives the twist here and all together creates an original look, festive and stunning!

Terms of application, you'll need 3 coats to get the look you see in the pictures. It also looks good and opaque with two coats, but I think the third coat provides the perfect look. Drying time between layers is quite fast, so in terms of time it's not really critical.

What I really liked about this polish, except it's amazing as itself, is that I don't have another similar polish like that. I have no shade that looks like this in my entire collection and it's really fun to find a new color, so beautiful and with glitter ..... lol

Plus, it is one of the polishes that fit me well when I don't want something too loud, and at the same time, it fits well when I want something more dramatic for the evening ....

In conclusion - I really love this polish J

Diamonds are a girl's best friend :-)

הציפורניים שלי עדיין לא במיטבן, אבל כבר יש שיפור ניכר משבוע שעבר ואני מקווה שהן יחזרו לעצמן בקרוב......בינתיים, אני משתדלת לא להציק להן יותר מדי וזה אומר בלי נצנצים כבדים ובלי קישוטי ציפורניים למיניהם, עד שהן יתחזקו שוב.

אז להיום, החלטתי לנסות אחד מהלקים של Essie ועוד לא יצא לי להשתמש בו, שנקרא Heart My JR Jewels – הלק הזה שייך לקולקציית Loves diamonds by Judith Ripka שכוללת בסה"כ 3 לקים – את זה, עוד אחד אדום ועוד אחד ורוד בהיר. קניתי את הקולקציה בארה"ב ועוד לא ממש יצא לי לנסות אותה. באחד הימים כשהיינו בטיול, ניסיתי את הורוד הבהיר ככה בחפוז והוא יצא ממש לא אחיד, אז התבאסתי על הקולקציה הזאת, אבל עכשיו החלטתי לתת לה הזדמנות כמו שצריך.

אז ככה – הלק הזה הוא בצבע חום אדמדם כהה, במרקם קרמי בגימור מבריק. אין בצבע הזה משהו מיוחד בעיניי ויש לי כבר כמה לקים האלה, אז התרגשות גדולה אני לא יכולה להביא לכן הפעם.....אבל – אני כן יכולה להגיד שממש אהבתי את הברק שלו, הגימור ממש מושלם והמריחה שלו היתה מאוד קלה, שתי שכבות הספיקו כדי להביא למראה כהה, אטום ואחיד, כך שבסך הכל אני מאוד מרוצה ממנו.

Essie - Heart My JR Jewels

My nails are still not in their best, but I can see improvement from last week and I hope they will soon be in a normal length…..meantime, I try not to mess with them a lot and that means no heavy glitters and no nail art, until they'll get stronger again.

So for today, I decided to try one of my Essies that I haven't had the chance to use yet – Heart My JR Jewels from the Loves diamonds by Judith Ripka collection. This collection includes this one, another red one and another pale pink. I bought this collection on my trip and I still haven't used any of the polishes. When we were on our trip, I tried one day the pink one hastily and I didn't like its application at all, so when I came back, I wasn't enthused to try them, but now I decided to give it a second chance.

So – this one is a dark reddish-brown in a crème texture and bright finish. There's nothing very special in this color to my opinion, and I already got a few in this shade, so I can show you big excitement this time…..but – I really do love its glossy finish very much and its application was very easy, two coats were enough to create an opaque and dark look so overall, I'm very pleased with this one.

תראו איזו הפתעה היתה לי השבוע !

הלכתי לדואר כדי לבדוק אם קיבלתי את החבילה מהסנטה שלי (עדיין לא) ואם הגיעו חבילות נוספות לפרוייקט איסוף התרומות של מוצרי הטיפוח למען מקלט הנשים (למי שלא מעודכנת, אפשר למצוא את כל הפרטים בפוסט הזה, האיסוף עדיין נמשך למי שמעוניינת לתרום) ומצאתי שם פתק לדואר רשום שהגיע אליי מהונג קונג.

הייתי בטוחה שזאת ההזמנה מאיביי שהזמנתי (שגם לא הגיעה) והופתעתי כשהפקידה בדואר מסרה לי חבילה קטנה בגודל של קוביה (כבר רציתי להרוג את המוכר מאיביי) – הייתי כ"כ משוכנעת שזאת ההזמנה שלי מאיביי (כי מה כבר יכול להגיע אליי מהונג קונג?) שאפילו לא הסתכלתי על השולח של החבילה.....

כשפתחתי את החבילה מצאתי ברכה קטנה וכשקראתי אותה הבנתי שהיא מ – Joyce, הבחורה ששלחתי לה את החבילה במסגרת פרוייקט החלפת המתנות של הבלוגריות. כששלחתי את החבילה, לא ידעתי מי הבחורה שהוגרלה לי וגם לא הכרתי את הבלוג שלה. חודש אחרי ששלחתי את החבילה, הגיע אליי מייל ממנה שבו היא הודתה לי על הדברים ששלחתי לה וסיפרה לי שהיא אהבה אותם מאוד וגם נתנה לי את הקישור לבלוג שלה –http://muiguiltypleasure.blogspot.com/

שלחתי לה מייל בחזרה ולא ציפיתי שיום למחרת אני אגלה בדואר חבילה ממנה ! כשפתחתי את החבילה גיליתי 5 לקים חמודים ומקסימים של Golden Rose – אף פעם לא שמעתי על החברה הזאת וכמו שאתן יודעות, אני תמיד אוהבת לנסות דברים חדשים J

Joyce בחרה לי 5 לקים מקסימים, שניים מתוכם הם נצנצים מהממים – אחד עם נצנצים כסופים בצורת עיגולים קטנים וכוכבים והשני עם נצנצים קטנים ורודים וקונפטי כסופים בתוכם – ממש כלבבי J

צילמתי לכם את הלקים ועשיתי סווטץ' אחד של כולם כדי שתוכלו לראות את הצבעים – כולם נמרחים מצוין ונוחים מאוד לשימוש.

כבר אמרתי שאני אוהבת הפתעות, נכון ?

Look what a surprise I had this week !

I went to the post office to see if I got any package from my Santa (I still didn't) or if more packages arrived for my beauty products donations project for the women's shelter (if you're not updated, you can find all the details in this post, I'm still collecting the donations if you want to donate) and I found there a note letting me know that there's a package from Hong Kong waiting for me.

I was sure I got my order from eBay (which I didn't get also) and I was surprised when the lady in the post office gave me a small package in a size of a cube (I was already ready to strangle the seller) - I was so sure that this is my eBay's order (what else can I get from Hong Kong ?) that I didn't even take a look at the sender's name….

When I opened the package, I found a little card and when I read it, I realized this package was from Joyce, the girl I was her secret Santa…., when I sent the package, I didn't know who she was and wasn't familiar with her blog. A month after I sent my package, I got an e-mail from her, in which she thanked me for my package and also gave me a link to her blog - http://muiguiltypleasure.blogspot.com/

I replied her e-mail and wasn't expected at all that in the day after I'll find a package from her in the mail !

When I opened the package I found 5 cute and charming polishes by Golden Rose – I've never heard about this brand but as you know me, I always love to try new things J

Joyce has picked me great colors, including 2 awesome glitters – one with silver glitter in shape of stars and little round glitter and the other with lots of tiny pink glitter with silver confetti inside – they are so cute !

I took a picture of the polishes and also did a swatch with all of them so you can see the colors – they all have good formula and they are easy to use.

Have I told you already that I love surprises ? J

Misa swatches and a Giveaway reminder

הבטחתי סווטצ'ים מההזמנה האחרונה, נכון ? אז הנה זה בא.

Misa Can't Nobody Take Me Down ו- Misa Sorry Just Can't Help It הם שניים מקולקציית סתיו 2009 של מיסה שנקראת ""I’m Only Human.

Misa Sorry Just Can't Help It הוא סגול מדיום, כמו שמכנים אותו. כלומר, הוא לא סגול מאוד כהה וגם לא סגול בהיר. למרות שבמבט ראשון הוא נראה כמו עוד סגול רגיל, אחרי ששמים אותו רואים כמה הוא מיוחד ויפה. יש לו תת גוון אדום והמרקם שלו הוא קרמי ומבריק בצורה מדהימה.

Misa Can't Nobody Take Me Down הוא מעין חום אדמדם, אבל הקטע המפתיע בו זה שאפשר לראות בו תת גוון סגול. הוא כהה, אבל לא מדי, והגוון שלו ממש מיוחד בעיניי ומזכיר לי גם שוקולד וגם דובדבן בו זמנית - למרות שהוא בכלל לא נראה כמו דובדבן, כן ? רק לוודא שאני לא מטעה אתכן (זה גם אחד השילובים האהובים עליי, שוקולד ודובדבנים, ותוסיפו לזה גם קצת אלכוהול ובכלל קניתן אותי....חחחח) לכל אלו מכן שאוהבות את גווני החום-בורדו – אני בטוחה שאתן תאהבו אותי כמוני !

הפורמולה של שניהם קצת סמיכה אבל עדיין, בדומה למיסה נוספים שיש לי, הם נמרחים ממש כמו חמאה, ממש בקלות ורק צריך למרוח אותם בזהירות.

הקטע שממש הפתיע אותי, בשני הלקים האלה, הוא שכבר אחרי שכבה אחת הם נראים מושלם ! זה לא קורה עם הרבה לקים, ובמיוחד לא עם כהים. מרחתי שכבה אחת וזה היה נראה פשוט מצוין, אטום, אחיד, מבריק – ממש הפתיעו אותי שני אלה. כמעט שקלתי להשאיר את זה ככה, אבל החלטתי לשים עוד שכבה כדי שזה ייראה יותר "מסודר".

זמן הייבוש שלהם סביר, לא מהמהירים שפגשתי, אז צריך לשמור על הציפורניים אחרי המריחה. המתנתי כמה דקות ואז מרחתי את המייבש ובמהרה הציפורניים שלי כבר היו יבשות למגע.

כמו שאתן יכולות לראות, קיצרתי את הציפורניים בצורה משמעותית, וזה כי 3 (!!) מהן נשברו לי מהבסיס כשניקיתי את הבית (גם את זה צריך לעשות לפעמים לא ? חחח) - בהתחלה חשבתי שאני עוד אצליח להציל אותן, אבל כשראיתי מה הנזק, הבנתי שאין לי ברירה אלא לקצר אותן עד הסוף.....

I promised you swatches from my last haul, haven't I ? So here it comes….

Misa Can't Nobody Take Me Down and Misa Sorry Just Can't Help It are both from Misa "I’m Only Human" collection of Fall 2009.

Misa Sorry Just Can't Help It is a crème medium purple and I absolutely needed this kind of purple in my collection – it seems pretty "regular" purple at first, but after you apply it…I can't explain…I just fell in love with it….

You can see it has some red inside it and its finish is very shiny, exactly like I like my crèmes J

Misa Can't Nobody Take Me Down is kind of a reddish brown, and the surprising part is that you can also see some purple in it. It has a very unique shade – reminds me both chocolate and cherry at the same time, even though it doesn't look like cherry at all, so don't get me wrong (it is also one of my favorite combinations – chocolate and cherry, just add some alcohol to the party and I'm totally yours…lol)

For those of you who love the reddish- brown shades – I'm sure you'll love this one as much as I do !

The formula of both of them is a bit on the thick side, but still, like other Misas I own, they applied like butter, very easily, and you just have to pay attention when you apply them.

The surprising part for me was, that they both look perfect after one coat ! You can't see it in a lot of polishes, especially not with the dark ones. I applied one coat and it looked amazing – opaque and shiny – that was a big surprise for me. I decided to apply a second coat, to get it more "tidy", but you definitely don't need 3 coats and if you want just one – it will look good also.

Their drying time is o.k, not the fastest I had, but o.k. – just let your nails dry for a few minutes. My pictures are with one coat of Poshe topcoat.

As you can see, my nails are significantly shorter and that's because 3 (!!) of them had broken while I was cleaning the house (you got to do it sometimes too, don't you ? lol). At first, I thought that I could save them, but when I saw the damage, I realized that there is no way out and I had to short them all…..

My new Orly's - Part 3

האמת שהייתי בטוחה שעד עכשיו אני כבר אסיים את המיני סדרה הזאת, כי יש לי המוווווווןןןןןןןןןן דברים חדשים להראות לכן, אבל לא הספקתי השבוע לעשות את כל מה שרציתי, ולכן הדברים החדשים (ויש הרבה !!) ייאלצו לחכות עוד כמה ימים, סולחות לי, נכון ? :-)

אז הנה אני עוברת היום ללק השני בסדרה, שנקרא Golden Maharaja – אם אתן זוכרות, כתבתי כאן שבהתחלה לא קניתי אותו ויום למחרת, בהמלצה של חברה, הלכתי לקנות אותו. וכמה שאני שמחה שהלכתי !

חשבתי איך לתאר לכן את הצבע הזה.....אני חושבת שאפשר להגדיר אותו כברונזה – אדמדם. בתוך הבית הוא יותר נראה כמו ברונזה-חום כהה, ובאור שמש אפשר לראות בבירור את האדמומיות שלו – גם הפעם, ניסיתי לצלם לכן את הלק הזה בזוויות שונות של אור, כדי שתוכלו להתרשם מההבדלים.

הלק הזה הוא פשוט מדהים ואני חושבת שהגוון שלו ממש מיוחד, לא היה לי צבע כזה לפני כן :-)

אני שמתי 3 שכבות והוא יצא אטום לחלוטין, אבל לאלו מביניכן שלא אוהבות הרבה שכבות, אפשר להסתפק גם בשתיים בקלות. בתמונות אתן רואות אותו גם עם שכבה של מייבש מעליו.

הוא נמרח בקלות – אולי בקלות מדי, וזאת היתה הבעיה שלי עם שלושת הלקים האלה. הם לכאורה מאוד נוחים למריחה, לא צמיגיים וכו', אבל משום יש להם נטייה "לברוח" במריחה לכיוון הקיוטיקל וזה די מקשה על מריחה מדוייקת. בנוסף, המברשת היא מאוד ארוכה, או אולי יותר נכון להגיד, המקל של המברשת, וכתוצאה מזה, בזמן שמורחים, אז כל הזמן יש על המקל לק שמאיים לטפטף למטה וזה די מציק ומפריע למריחה.
אבל לא להיבהל – חשוב לי לציין את הפרטים האלו, אבל זה לא משהו שהופך את זה למשימה קשה במיוחד ובסה"כ מדובר על לק די נוח, ואם בורח, תמיד אפשר לתקן אח"כ :-)

הלק הזה החזיק מעולה על הציפורניים ובאופן אישי אני חושבת ששברתי איתו שיא והלכתי איתו 4 ימים....חחחח......בלי להחליף !

ביום השני, נראה לי, החלטתי לגוון קצת והוספתי לו מדבקה חדשה שקניתי, היא היתה נראית לי ממש מתאימה ללק הזה. מה אתן אומרות ?

ORLY - Golden Maharaja

Hello Hello Hello !!

The truth is, I was sure that by this time today, I'll be finishing this mini-series, because I have SSSSOOOOOO much new stuff to show you, but I didn't managed to finish it, so the new stuff (and there are plenty !) will have to wait a couple of more days, but you forgive me, right ?

So today we're moving to the second polish in this series, the Golden Maharaja (Mary and Nail Fanatic – this is for you:-) and Charming nails - I haven't forgot you and I'm hoping to swatch Red Sea Pearl in the next two days). If you remember, I didn't buy this one at first, but after my friend warmly recommended me on it, I went to the store and bought it, and how glad I am that I did that !

I was thinking how to describe you its color, and I think that it can be defined as reddish bronze . inside, it looks more like dark bronze – brown, and in sunlight you can clearly see its reddishness – this time too, I took pictures of it in different lights, so you can see the differences.

This one is very beautiful and I think it has a unique shade, I haven't got a polish similar to this one before, and I felt "brave" for trying a new color….lol

And now to the application – this one, like all of the three in this series, is runny and it was a bit hard for me to apply it accurately. In addition, the brush of those ones, or maybe I should say the stick of the brush, is pretty long, so it seems like there is always some polish threatening to be dropped down and this is also makes the application harder. But don't panic – I had to mentioned those things, but it doesn't mean that this is a hard mission to apply it :-)

This one stays perfect on the nails and personally, I think I've broke my record with this one and stayed with it for 4 days….no changing ! lol….

On the second day, I think, I've decided to add that gold sticker, it looks to me like it would fit well to this polish, what do you say ?
