Some Finger Paints !

הנה עוד כמה מהלקים שקיבלתי בחבילה הנהדרת מניקול.

והפעם, שלושה לקים מהקולקציה האחרונה של Finger Paints. ראיתי את הקולקציה הזאת לראשונה בבלוג של סקרנג'י וממש אהבתי אותה, אז כשניקול שאלה אותי אם יש משהו מיוחד שאני ארצה בחבילה שלי, כתבתי לה שאני אשמח ללקים מהקולקציה הזאת – והיא היתה כזאת מקסימה ששלחה לי 3 מהם !

שלושתם ממש יפים, במרקם מיוחד – מעין שימר עם נצנצים, אבל במרקם חלק ולא במרקם ה"חתיכות" של נצנצים רגילים (וגם ההסרה כאן לא מהווה בעיה).

הפורמולה שלהם קצת נוזלית, אבל עדיין נוחה, השכבות הן דקות וזמן הייבוש שלהם סביר.

את השמות ושאר הפרטים אתו יכולות למצוא הפעם מתחת לכל תמונה, אבל לפני שאני משאירה אתכן עם התמונות, אני רק אכתוב לכן לגבי השכבות:

הכסוף היה צריך 3 שכבות – הוא חצי שקוף בשכבה ראשונה, וגם אחרי 3 שכבות הוא לא הרגיש לי אטום לחלוטין, אבל כן אטום במידה מספקת – זה היופי של המרקם הזה.

הסגול היה צריך 2 שכבות – הפורמולה שלו היתה הכי חזקה, כבר בשכבה ראשונה הוא היה נראה טוב ושתי שכבות הספיקו כאן לגמרי.

הורוד נראה טוב אחרי 2 שכבות אבל אני שמתי שכבה שלישית. האמת שהוא היה נראה לי יותר סגול בבקבוק מאשר על היד - על היד הוא נראה לי יותר ורוד, עם סגלגלות מסויימת.

כל התמונות צולמו בלי טופקואוט.

Sparkling Snow – I love this name ! This is a beautiful shade of silver, one of those delicate silvers I like. It needed 3 coats to get the look you see in the picture.

Icy Iris – A gorgeous deep purple. This one is a stunner and here is more - it needed only 2 coats !

Decked With Dazzle – This one seemed to me like a pinkish purple in the bottle, but on my nails I can definitely say it looks more pink than purple. Beautiful color, goes great with that texture ! This is 3 coats.

Here are some more polishes I received in the wonderful package from sweet Nicole.

This time, 3 of Finger Paints's last collection. I first saw this collection on Scrangie's blog and I really loved it, so when Nicole asked me if there's something special I would like to get in my package, I wrote her that I would love to get polishes from this collection – and she is such a sweetheart sending me 3 of them !

They are all gorgeous and they have a special texture – kind of a flecked shimmer (I didn't really know how to define them, so if you do, please write me so I'll know). This texture is smooth and the removal is easy too.

The formula of all was a bit on the runny side, but still easy to apply, the layers are thin and the drying time is reasonable.

This time you can find all the other details below each picture. All the pictures were taken without topcoat.

Finger Paints - Pretty As A Picture :-)

מה נהיה עם מזג האויר הזה ? כאילו מה, פורים מגיע אז צריך להיות גשם ? איפה כתוב הכלל הזה ?

כבר התחלתי להתרגל לימים האביביים והבהירים (לא לחום, אני שונאת חום !) ודווקא עכשיו לקראת סוף השבוע גשם ? גררררררררר

טוב, אז אני התעקשתי להישאר במצב רוח אביבי היום והחלטתי שלק ורוד יתאים לזה :-)

הלק הזה הוא של Finger Paints וקיבלתי אותו בחבילה שניקול המקסימה שלחה לי. אם כבר מדברים על Finger Paints, אז אני יכולה להגיד שיש להם צבעים ממש יפים והקולקציה האחרונה שלהם היתה מהממת לדעתי – ניקול שלחה לי 3 מהקולקציה הזאת ועדיין לא יצא לי לנסות אותם, אבל הם נראים מהמם בבקבוק ואני חייבת להראות לכן סווטצ'ים שלהם בקרוב.

הלק הזה נקרא Pretty As A Picture והוא סוג של ורוד ברבי. עכשיו אני אומרת "סוג של" מכיוון שיש בו משהו קצת "מאובק" שהופך אותו לקצת פחות ילדותי מורוד ברבי רגיל, אולי אני אקרא לו דאסטי ברבי...חחח. גם בתמונות לא הצלחתי לתפוס בדיוק את המראה שלו........יש בו מעין שימר מאוד עדין ובהתחלה חשבתי שאולי יהיה אפשר להגדיר אותו כפנינתי, אבל לא נראה לי שזה ממש זה...הוא נראה הרבה יותר כמו קרמי על היד, וגם את זה משום מה היה קשה לי הפעם לתפוס במדויק, אתן לא יודעות מה תמונות עשיתי ללק הזה וכלום....כבר כמעט התייאשתי !

מבחינת המריחה הוא בסדר, קצת נוזלי, אבל לא יותר מדי כך שאין בעיה להסתדר איתו. הוא יצא כמעט אטום בשכבה ראשונה, אבל לא לגמרי, אז נזקקתי לשכבה שניה ומה שאתן רואות בתמונות אלו 2 שכבות, בלי טופקואוט.

אני ממש אהבתי את הצבע הזה - הוא בדיוק הגוון הנכון של ורוד כשרוצים משהו יפה ועם נוכחות, אבל גם לא ילדותי או זועק מדי. אני בהחלט הולכת לעשות בו שימוש !

Finger Paints - Pretty As A Picture

What's going on with the weather here ? We're in the middle of the winter, and we had a sunny week, and just when I started to get use to these bright springy days (not to the heat, I hate heat !), it started raining again…..grrrrrrrr

Well, so I insisted to stay in that springy mood and decided that a pink polish would fit :-)

This polish is from Finger Paints and I got it in the package that the lovely Nicole has sent me. If we're talking about Finger Paints, I can tell you they have really beautiful colors, and their last collection was stunning for my opinion – Nicole sent me 3 polishes from this collection and I still haven't had the chance to try them, but they look gorgeous in the bottles and I have to show you their swatches soon.

This polish is called Pretty As A Picture and it's kind of a barbie pink. I say "kind of" because there is something a bit "dusty" about it, which makes it less childish than a regular barbie pink, or maybe I should call it dusty Barbie…lol.

Also I couldn't capture its exact look in the pictures….it has a subtle shimmer inside and at first I thought maybe define it as pearly, but I don't think that is the thing…..it looks much more like crème on the hand, and that's another thing I struggled to capture, you don't know how many pictures of it I took and nothing….I almost gave up !

The application here was good, a bit runny but not something serious that you can't handle. It turned out almost opaque after one coat, but not totally opaque so I needed the second coat and what you see in the pictures are 2 coats, without topcoat.

I really love this color – it's just the right shade of pink when you want something beautiful and with presence, but not childish or too loud. I'm definitely going to use this one !
