GA-DE CRYSTALLIC Matte Collection

The cosmetic brand GA-DE came out recently with a new collection called Crystallic Matte Nail Color.

The formula of the nail polishes in this collection contains micro particles which creates a 3D effect with a unique texture that reminds sugar. 

We already saw similar collections with this sugar/sand texture, like Sally Hansen Sugar Coat, OPI Mariah with the Liquid Sand finish, China Glaze Texture collection and more, so when I received the polishes from this collection I was very curious to see GA-DE's interpretation to this trend.

The Crystallic collection contains 6 different shades and I have 3 of them to show, so let's start:

Coral Sugar – a coral pink with beautiful gold glitters. This shade of pink is tricky and although it seems "innocence" in the bottle, it came out pretty "bold" on my nails (yes, of course I liked it J). I wish the gold glitters were more visible in regular lighting, but still, it's a beautiful shade of pink.

Gold Sugar – Well, this one has the Wow factor for me. You all know I'm not a big fan of gold but I definitely going to use this one again and not just for swatches. Gold Sugar is gold with tons of silver chunks and it's the only one out of the bunch with big chunks of glitters. I think surprisingly it was my favorite out of the three, maybe because it's really special…

Blue Sugar – The names in this collection are a big shock, ha? Well…..Blue Sugar is a medium blue with tiny silver glitters. It's a beautiful shade of blue and you can see it sparkles on your nails very nicely. I wish it had also some gold or pink glitters inside, I think it could be more special this way, but I also like it as it is.

As for the formula of this collection, it's very pigmented and on the thick side so it works great and now you'll hear me saying something I've NEVER EVER said on this blog before – as far as Coral Sugar and Gold Sugar – DO NOT apply more than one coat. Yes. You heard me right – the three of them are opaque at one coat so you don't need the second one, but while Blue Sugar is also good in two coats, the other two looks their best in one coat. When I applied the second coat it looked bumpier and the sugar texture was ruined a little, so yes, I recommend you don't apply more than one coat.

Overall, I think GA-DE pretty much nailed it in this collection - texture, glitters, one coat - can we ask for more? Maybe just for some more colors....

A package from Bundle Monster

Hey, how are you all?

You already know that I LOVE packages and I just can't hide the joy when I get that little note calling me to the post office to collect a new package, even after receiving tons of packages J

So today, I want to share with you a great package – My first order from BundleMonster.

All the way from Germany - P2 polishes!

Today we're heading to Germany….

A while ago, I received some nail polishes from Germany and I haven't had the chance to show them to you yet. I got 3 P2 nail polishes and 3 Essence polishes and we'll start with the P2 nail polishes.

Let me start by saying that they are all very easy to apply, a bit runny, but still works great.

From L to R:

P2 996 Before Sunrise – Wow, this one captured my eye immediately. It's kind of a reddish bronze with a beautiful duochrome effect. It has a gold shimmer that makes it special and it looks gorgeous in sun light. I took some inside and outdoor pictures so you can see the different, but I have to admit that I couldn't catch its full beauty, so sorry for that.

P2 100 Open your heart – O.K, now this one is for you, my red addict friends J It's a crème red with a pinch of pink and I think it can easily enter to "the most successful red polishes" list. I, personally, am not a big fan of red polishes, but if I'm in the muse, this shade of red is definitely my favorite.

P2 990 Free to be – I'm not sure how to describe it, but I think that green with a silver shimmer would be a good start. The silver shimmer is much more shown in the bottle than it is on the nails, but it's still one of those shades I can't resist.

I love the bottles of these ones and as I wrote, they are very easy to apply and also dry pretty fast.

I'm sorry I don't have full swatches to show you yet, it's because I'm still growing my nails to a decent length for swatching and also because I didn't have enough time this week.

Also, I was in the mood for some experiences with my lace stickers, and here are the results – What do you think? I was really pleased with the results of the green one and I'm not so sure about the others…

Nail art for the weekend!

I love weekends! Weekends allow me to spend precious time with my family and also time to catch some sleep here and there. Now that we have a little baby, weekends are not the same, and I guess many of you moms can understand me J 

But this weekend, I felt like I need some time alone with my colors – yes, not kid's crayons, but my polishes and nail art. I was in the mood for some stars and flowers, and I couldn't decide what mani to do, so I created some options on the nail wheel - Here they are…

I used Misa – Sorry just can't help it (purple), Icing Mood Swing – Passionate/Shy (turquoise) and Chic no. 25 (yellow)

ביוטי פסח - רעיונות לציפורניים בפסח!

אז מה יהיה על הציפורניים שלכן בליל הסדר, כבר החלטתן?

כמדי שנה, אני רוצה להביא לכן גם היום כמה רעיונות לציפורניים מושקעות בשולחן החג, כאלה שיגררו מבטים ותגובות וישלימו את ההופעה עם טוויסט מיוחד (וגם ישעשעו אתכן קצת בזמן קריאת ההגדה, אם יתחיל לשעמם...:-) ).

השנה השתדלתי להביא עיצוב אחד לנועזות, אחד לעדינות יותר ואחד לאלה שבאמצע – השתמשתי בלקים נוחים למריחה עם זמן ייבוש יחסית מהיר וגם הרעיונות הם די פשוטים לביצוע (אם כי דורשים השקעה), כי אין לי חשק לבלות שעה במריחת 3 או 4 שכבות ואז גם לגלות שזה לא התייבש עד הסוף.

ומה היתה ההשראה?

האביב!

מזג האויר הנעים בימים האחרונים הביא איתו לכאן ריח אווירה של חג אביבי, של פריחה ירוקה ושדות פרחים ושל...גלידה! כן, אני בדודה לגלידות בימים האחרונים, אין על גלידה, זה כל כך משמח!

וכל זה, בצירוף כמה שיפוצים ושינויים קטנים שאנחנו עושים כאן בבית ברוח ההתחדשות, הביאו אותי לבחור בצבעים של ירוק, לבן וורוד – יש בשילוב הזה משהו טהור ומשמח לדעתי...

שנצאה לדרך?

הנועזת

נתחיל בעיצוב הנועז - כמו שכתבתי, חיפשתי משהו שיהיה קל ובטוח לעשייה ואין כמו מדבקות לשילוב הזה! המדבקות עם הכיסוי המלא הציפו את המדפים בשנה האחרונה וחברות רבות הוציאו את הגרסאות שלהן למדבקות. בארה"ב קניתי כמה סוגים של מדבקות כאלה ואני אראה לכן אותן בפוסט אחר, אבל היום רציתי להראות לכן משהו שמצאתי בארץ, במיי קוסמטיקס. צירפתי כאן צילום של האריזה (שכחתי לצלם אותה לפני שהתחלתי, אבל זה גם עושה את העבודה).

פעלתי לפי ההוראות והדבקתי את המדבקות ישירות על הציפורן (כן, בלי לק בסיס). עכשיו תשמעו – אם תעשו עבודה מדוייקת מובטחת לכן תוצאה מהממת, באמת, אבל אל תחפפו בשלב ההדבקה ותקדישו לעניין את תשומת הלב שלכן, כי המדבקות עדינות מאוד ובקלות יכולות להיהרס לכן על הציפורניים וחבל. כנ"ל לגבי עבודת ההתאמה לציפורן שנדרשת כאן לאחר ההדבקה. אני נעזרתי גם במספריים קטנות וגם בפצירה וכל התהליך לשתי הידיים לקח לי בין 30-45 דק'. שימו לב שהציפורניים האלה מגיעות עם מדבקות שקופות משני הצדדים – גם מלמעלה וגם מלמטה – וצריך להסיר את שתיהן לפני השימוש.

מעל לכל זה השתמשתי בטופקואוט שקוף. התוצאה, כמו שכתבתי, מדהימה לדעתי ושווה לחלוטין את ההתעסקות (יצא יפה יותר במציאות מאשר בתמונות). מה שכן – זה החזיק בדיוק יום ואז שתי ציפורניים פשוט "התנתקו" לי בשלמותן, אז קחו את זה בחשבון וראו במניקור הזה כמניקור לחג בלבד או שתנסו לשים בהתחלה שכבת בסיס ואני מאמינה שהתוצאה תהיה הרבה יותר עמידה.

אז מי כאן שייכת לקבוצת הנועזות?

בעיצוב הבא רוח הגלידה השתלטה עליי, וביחד עם נוסטלגיה מסויימת התחשק לי להשתמש צבעים של ירוק מנטה, ורוד ונגיעות של לבן. גם העיצוב הזה הוא קל מאוד לעשייה – מורחים את הלק ואז משתמשים במדבקות תחרה דקות (זהירות, הן גם עדינות מאוד) להשלמת המראה. מעל הכל גם כאן, טופקואוט שקוף. צילמתי לכן את שני השלבים ומי שרוצה, יכולה להישאר בלי המדבקות, כמו בתמונה הראשונה.

הלקים שהשתמשתי בהם כאן הם Cupid של רבלון ו- Blue-ming של קולור קלאב (אפילו השם מתאים לאביב).

ואני כבר מכירה אתכן ויודעת שחלקכן מעדיפות את המראה הסולידי והעדין יותר, אז כמובן שלא פסחתי גם עליכן והבאתי לכן עיצוב פחות "משוגע" J

אחד הלקים שממש רציתי להשתמש בהם הוא גוון מס' 15 (לא נראה שיש לו שם) בסדרת ה- 1 Second של בורז'ואה. חברתי לבנת מהבלוג – The Beauty News כתבה לאחרונה שהסדרה הזאת אמורה להגיע לארץ ובאופן אישי אני ממש אשמח לראות אותם כאן על המדפים.

את הלק הזה קיבלתי בזמנו בחבילה מבלוגרית בצרפת ששלחה לי אותו וזאת היתה אהבה ממבט ראשון. המברשת שלו סופר נוחה ושתי שכבות מספיקות למראה דק ואטום. זאת הסיבה שגם בחרתי להשתמש בו בעיצוב הזה, כי כשאתן עושות פרנץ', אתן רוצות לבחור בלק שיהיה כמה שיותר אטום ודק. המרקם המנצנץ שלו מהמם וזה הטוויסט שבחרתי לעיצוב הזה, לא עוד פרנץ' קרמי, אלא נגיעה מנצנצת וחגיגית לערב החג J

לפרנץ' נעזרתי במדבקות של אורלי (אפשר של כל חברה) וכשזה היה מוכן, הוספתי את מדבקות התחרה והשלמתי את העיצוב עם טופקואוט שקוף מעל לכל.

Hello Kitty !!!

החלק בעברית כתוב מתחת לתמונות.......

I've wanted to show you this mani for such a long time !

This is one of the cutest manicures I've ever done and I spent so much time on its details. I have to tell you, every time I do such a good detailed mani, usually using stamps, my nails look to me so cool and fun….they make me smile every time I look at them, you know what I mean ?

So, what do we have here ?

The pink polish you see ( I used it on all of my fingers beside the ring) is China Glaze Sexy Lady. I wrote about it in this post and it remained one of my favorite pinks.

For the white polish I used Olive no. 37, which is a brand that we have here in Israel, but every opaque white will do the job. I love this one because it's easy to work with and it's totally opaque after two coats.

For the lovely Kitty I used M71 palette that I received for review from Born Pretty. I enjoyed this palette and it worked great for me, so I recommend you to check out their palettes, they have good prices and also, you can find a 10% off coupon in the right column of the blog .

After stamping, I used a very thin brush to fill some of the spaces in the painting – I painted Kitty's bow with pink and yellow and her nose in yellow (for the yellow I used Chic no. 52 which is a banana yellow).

And here is the final result, you can judge it yourself – I can tell you that I loved it J

Hello Kitty - M71 palette (Born Pretty) and China Glaze Sexy Lady

כמה זמן שאני רוצה להראות לכן את המניקור הזה !

זה אחד החמודים (אם לא ה- ) שעשיתי לאחרונה וגם בין הבודדים בתקופה הזאת שממש השקעתי בו והקפדתי על הפרטים וזה היה כל כך שווה את זה וגרף המון מחמאות (ואפילו שלוש מגברים, כן, ספרתי J ). בכל פעם שאני עושה מניקור כזה מושקע, לרוב באמצעות החותמות, הציפורניים נראות כל כך מגניבות ואני מניחה שרק מי שניסתה ללכת עם מניקור כזה בעצמה, מבינה איזו תחושה כיפית זו, אז למי שעדיין לא ניסתה, כדאי לך לנסות.....

אז מה היה לנו פה ?

הלק הורוד שאתן רואות (השתמשתי בו בכל האצבעות, חוץ מבקמיצה) הוא Sexy Lady של צ'יינה גלייז שיצא בזמנו במסגרת הקולקציה לחודש המודעות לסרטן השד. כתבתי עליו בפוסט הזה והוא נשאר אחד הורודים המקסימים לדעתי.

ללק הלבן השתמשתי באחד הפייבוריטים שלי לקישוטי ציפורניים מהסוג הזה – מס' 37 של זית. את הלק הזה קניתי מזמן והוא הפך להיות אחד הלקים היותר שימושיים שלי. הוא לבן טיפקס אטום, עם מריחה נוחה ושתי שכבות מביאות לאטימות מוחלטת, בדיוק כמו שאני אוהבת.

לציור של קיטי המקסימה השתמשתי בפלטה M71שקיבלתי לסקירה מ- Born Pretty. יש להם פלטות שמיועדות להחתמה, כמו של קונאד וזאת שניסיתי עבדה מצויין. שווה לכן לבדוק כי המחירים זולים וגם מחיר המשלוח (כשביררתי היה 3 דולר לכל החבילה). בנוסף, הקופון של 10% לקוראת שלי עדיין בתוקף עד סוף החודש (נמצא בעמודה הימנית של הבלוג).

אחרי ההחתמה, לקחתי מברשת דקה מאוד ומילאתי שטחים קטנים שהיו ריקים, ככה צבעתי את הסרט שלה בורוד וצהוב ואת האף בצהוב. לצהוב השתמשתי במספר 52 של שיק שהוא צהוב בננה מהגרסה הקודמת, אז שימו לב, ייתכן והמספר השתנה.

לכל מי שתוהה לגבי השימוש במייבש בסוג כזה של מניקור – כן, אני משתמשת במייבש, אבל רק אחרי ייבוש ארוךל ומלא, כדי לא לקחת סיכון שכל העבודה תימרח. השכבה של המייבש גם עוזרת לשמור על העמידות וגם נותנת מראה אחיד יותר למניקור.

את התוצאה הסופית אתן יכולות לשפוט בעצמכן – אני אהבתי מאוד ומקווה שגם אתן J
