All the way from Germany - P2 polishes!

Today we're heading to Germany….

A while ago, I received some nail polishes from Germany and I haven't had the chance to show them to you yet. I got 3 P2 nail polishes and 3 Essence polishes and we'll start with the P2 nail polishes.

Let me start by saying that they are all very easy to apply, a bit runny, but still works great.

From L to R:

P2 996 Before Sunrise – Wow, this one captured my eye immediately. It's kind of a reddish bronze with a beautiful duochrome effect. It has a gold shimmer that makes it special and it looks gorgeous in sun light. I took some inside and outdoor pictures so you can see the different, but I have to admit that I couldn't catch its full beauty, so sorry for that.

P2 100 Open your heart – O.K, now this one is for you, my red addict friends J It's a crème red with a pinch of pink and I think it can easily enter to "the most successful red polishes" list. I, personally, am not a big fan of red polishes, but if I'm in the muse, this shade of red is definitely my favorite.

P2 990 Free to be – I'm not sure how to describe it, but I think that green with a silver shimmer would be a good start. The silver shimmer is much more shown in the bottle than it is on the nails, but it's still one of those shades I can't resist.

I love the bottles of these ones and as I wrote, they are very easy to apply and also dry pretty fast.

I'm sorry I don't have full swatches to show you yet, it's because I'm still growing my nails to a decent length for swatching and also because I didn't have enough time this week.

Also, I was in the mood for some experiences with my lace stickers, and here are the results – What do you think? I was really pleased with the results of the green one and I'm not so sure about the others…

Nail art for the weekend!

I love weekends! Weekends allow me to spend precious time with my family and also time to catch some sleep here and there. Now that we have a little baby, weekends are not the same, and I guess many of you moms can understand me J 

But this weekend, I felt like I need some time alone with my colors – yes, not kid's crayons, but my polishes and nail art. I was in the mood for some stars and flowers, and I couldn't decide what mani to do, so I created some options on the nail wheel - Here they are…

I used Misa – Sorry just can't help it (purple), Icing Mood Swing – Passionate/Shy (turquoise) and Chic no. 25 (yellow)

כמה כבר כתבתי על מותג הלקים הזה! אתן כבר מכירות אותי מספיק בשביל לדעת שאני פשוט לא יכולה לעמוד בפני קולקציות לקים צבעוניות ונועזות וצ'יינה גלייז מאתגרים אותי בכל פעם מחדש! אני אוהבת את הלקים, את הקולקציות, את הפורמולה המצויינת (נטולת הרעלים, למי שמתעניינת) את התעוזה, את המחיר השפוי ואת היד על הדופק שלהם שמצליחה להקפיץ אותי מהכסא בכל כך הרבה קולקציות שלהם.

לפני כמה זמן, קיבלתי במייל חדשות מרעישות – צ'יינה גלייז מגיעים לישראל!

זה היה הדבר הראשון שרציתי לכתוב לכן, כי ידעתי שגם אתן תשמחו כמוני לשמוע את החדשות הטובות האלו, אבל בעקבות כל הבלאגן שהיה כאן אצלי בתקופה האחרונה, לא הספקתי להביא לכן את החדשות בזמן ואני מבקשת את סליחתכן על העיכוב הממש לא אלגנטי בהבאת הבשורה הזאת....סולחות לי?

Polishes from Romania - Part 3

o.k., so this series took me forever to write……

I know that you had to wait so long for this post and I have so many many new things to show you (and to give you J), so I promise you to do all efforts to bring you the next post sooner. These last couples of weeks were so hectic, a lot is going on and I try my best to manipulate between everything. You can't understand how much it bothers me not to see you all in the frequency I used to, I really miss you……and I was so touched by your comments in the last post, that it made me realize how important you all are to me and what a great part you have in my life J

Well, I'll stop now, showing my feelings was never my best part….

As you remember, we're in the last part of my series of polishes from Romania and this time I have a stunning reddish orange to show you, also from Kallos and this time, number 51 – It's crème, applied like a butter and opaque after 2 coats. This polish is so cool and beautiful – and you already know me, I'm not a big orange fan, but no can no do, this polish is absolutely gorgeous ! And so shiny !

So that's it, to close this series, I also bring you pictures of the two other polishes – hope you enjoyed it and have a great day/night wherever you are !!!

טוב, הסדרה הזאת לקחה לי נצח.......

אני יודעת שנאלצתן לחכות הרבה לפוסט הזה ויש לי עוד כל כך הרבה דברים בקנה להראות לכן (וגם לתת לכן J ) אז אני מבטיחה לכן לעשות את כל המאמצים בעולם כדי להביא לכן את הפוסט הבא מוקדם יותר. השבועיים האחרונים היו כל כך עמוסים, הרבה דברים קורים ואני משתדלת לתמרן בין כולם ואתן לא מבינות כמה זה חסר לי לא לראות אתכן בתדירות שאני רגילה לראות, אני ממש מתגעגעת......והתגובות שלכן בפוסט הקודם כל כך ריגשו אותי שזה גרם לי להבין כמה אתן חשובות לי ואיזה חלק גדול יש לכן בחיי J

טוב, די רגשי, אני אף פעם לא טובה בזה.......כאמור, אנחנו בחלק האחרון בסדרת הלקים מרומניה והפעם יש לי להראות לכן לק כתום-אדום מטריף, גם של חברת Kallos והפעם מספר 51 – הוא קרמי, הוא נמרח כמו חמאה והוא אטום בשתי שכבות. הלק הזה כל כך יפה וכל כך מגניב -ואתן כבר מכירות אותי ויודעות שאני לא הכי חובבת כתומים, אבל אין, הלק הזה פשוט מהמם ! וכל כך מבריק !

אז זהו, אני מביאה לכן לסיום תזכורת גם משני הלקים הנוספים – מקווה שנהניתן ושיהיה לכן ערב מהמם !!!

Polishes from Romania - Part 2

The second polish from Romania is Kallos no. 241. Its bottle is totally different, round and with a white cup. This is a frosty silver-gold color and it looks almost metallic on the hand.

The cool part in it is that it has tiny colorful glitter inside and if you'll take a close look on the picture I took in the sun, you could see it. The less cool part is that you can see these glitter only in the sun and in a regular light, it looks much more like in the second picture, still beautiful but without the special color.

You can't define this color as a nude, but the nice part about it is that it blends so nicely with the skin color, on one hand it's very delicate and on the other hand it has a very beautiful presence.

The application here was very easy and two coats were enough for an opaque and beautiful look.

Kallos - No. 241

הלק השני בסדרת הלקים מרומניה הוא Kallos מס' 241. הבקבוק שלו הוא שונה לגמרי, עגול ועם פקק לבן והוא במעין צבע זהוב כסוף במרקם פרוסט, שנראה על היד כמעט מטאלי.

מה שמגניב בו, זה שיש בו נצנצים זעירים בכל מיני צבעים ואם תסתכלו טוב בתמונה שצילמתי אותו בשמש, תוכלו לראותם אותם. מה שפחות מגניב, זה שרק בשמש אפשר לראות אותם ובאור רגיל הוא נראה כמו בתמונה השניה, עדיין יפה אבל בלי הצבעוניות המיוחדת.

אי אפשר להגדיר את הצבע הזה כניוד, אבל מה שנחמד בו, זה שהוא משתלב כל כך יפה על היד, ומצד אחד הוא מאוד עדין ומצד שני יש לו נוכחות מאוד יפה.

המריחה שלו היתה קלה ביותר ושתי שכבות הספיקו למראה אטום ויפה.

And now a little quiz – guess who picked them for me ?

And if you haven't guessed yet, or you're not here long enough to guess, the answer is my mom - :-)

Yes, my parents returned from a trip to Romania and when they asked me what I want from there, I, how surprising, asked for polishes….hahaha (yes, I'm over 30 and not living with them for almost a decay, but still get presents when they travel J )

So my precious mom had chosen me these polishes, and although she still don't have the courage to bring me some greens and blues, I have to say that she'd definitely improved ! Way to go mom, love ya J

And as a tribute to my mom, the reds lover, I'll start today by showing you the red one she chose for me.

These three polishes are from a brand called Kallos and this one is number 52. This is a dark red with a golden shimmer, although I'll tell you right now that the gold shimmer is not visible on the nails as it's in the bottle.

When I applied it, the only thing I could think about is "WOW", everything about it was perfect ! The formula is amazing and so easy to apply, it has a great pigment and it's opaque already in one coat, yes, totally opaque…I applied 2 coats just because my brain can't get use to one coat, especially when we're talking on reds. The color is rich and vibrant and although I'm not a big reds fan, you know, I had to admit that this one look gorgeous on my nails.

I can definitely say that this polish came as a big surprise for me and if any of you live in Romania, going to visit there or being asked what you want from there – I can warmly recommend you about this polish J

הלקים האלה הגיעו אליי היישר מרומניה.....

ועכשיו חידה קטנה - נחשו מי בחר לי אותם ?

ואם עוד לא ניחשתן, או שאתן לא כאן מספיק זמן כדי לנחש אז התשובה היא – אמא שלי J

כן, ההורים שלי חזרו מטיול ברומניה וכהרגלי בקודש כשנשאלתי מה אני רוצה, עניתי לקים...חחחח (כן, כבר מעל 30 וכמעט עשור שלא גרה איתם, אבל עדיין מקבלת מתנות מחו"ל J )

אז אמא יקרה לי בחרה במיוחד בשבילי את הלקים האלה, ועל אף שהיא עדיין לא מעזה להביא לי ירוקים או כחולים, אני יכולה להגיד לכן שהיא בהחלט השתפרה ! כל הכבוד אמא, מתה עלייך J

וכמחווה לאמא שלי, חובבת האדומים, אני אתחיל היום בלהראות לכן את הלק האדום שהיא בחרה לי.

שלושת הלקים הם של חברה שנקראת Kallos והלק הזה הוא מס' 52. מדובר באדום כהה עם שימר מוזהב, למרות שאני אציין כבר עכשיו שבניגוד למה שציפיתי כשראיתי את הבקבוק, השימר הזהוב בכלל לא מורגש על הציפורניים.

כשמרחתי אותו, הדבר היחיד שהצלחתי לחשוב עליו הוא "וואוו", הכל בו היה מושלם ! המריחה מדהימה וקלה, יש לו פיגמנט מעולה והוא אטום כבר בשכבה ראשונה, אבל אטום אני אומרת לכן....שמתי שתי שכבות רק מתוך הרגל, כי למוח שלי קשה להתרגל לשכבה אחת באופן כללי וכשמדובר באדומים על אחת כמה וכמה. הצבע עשיר ומלא חיים ועם כל חוסר החיבה הכללי שלי לאדומים, הייתי חייבת להודות בפני עצמי שהוא נראה סוף הדרך על הציפורניים !

אני בהחלט יכולה לסכם את הלק הזה כהפתעה ואם תקפצו לרומניה או מישהו ישאל אתכן מה אתן רוצות משם – אז אני יכולה להמליץ לכן בפה מלא לבקש את הלק הזה J

Rainbow of colors from Chocaddict

Today I have something special to show you !

I received Gosh Rainbow in the package from the wonderful Chocaddict and even before I saw it, I knew I'm going to love it.

This is a clear base with lots of massive duochrome flakies in colors of orange-yellow-green and one coat of it over any polish, changes it completely. Absolutely stunning !

It's popular to lay this polish over black for maximum effect, but I've decided to do a little experiment and show it to you over several dark crème polishes, so you can see it in different ways. As I wrote, all you need is one layer of this polish and everything changes. As thick as the layer would be, as bigger the amount of flakies that would cover the base color will be.

And now to the experiment:

As a base, I used 4 different colors and I took you some "before" pictures so you can see them "clean" (also these are some of my favorite crèmes so you can take a recommendation on them all on the way):

היום יש לי משהו מיוחד להראות לכן !

את הלק הזה של Gosh שנקרא Rainbow קיבלתי בחבילה מ- Chocaddict המקסימה ועוד לפני שראיתי אותו, ידעתי שאני הולכת לאהוב אותו.

הלק הזה הוא בעצם לק שקוף עם חתיכות נצנצים ענקיות (המכונות Flakies) דואוכרומיות בצבעים של כתום-צהוב-ירוק ושכבה אחת שלו מעל כל לק, משנה אותו לחלוטין, פשוט מטריף !

מקובל לשים את הלקים מהסוג הזה על לק שחור לקבלת האפקט המירבי, אבל החלטתי לעשות ניסוי הפעם ולהראות לכן אותו על כמה לקים כהים בגוונים שונים, כדי שתוכלו להתרשם. כמו שכתבתי, כל מה שצריך זו שכבה אחת מהלק והכל משתנה. ככל שתשימו שכבה עבה יותר, כך כמות הנצנצים תהיה גדולה יותר וזה יכסה שטח יותר גדול מצבע הבסיס.

ונעבור לניסוי:

בתור בסיס, השתמשתי בארבעה צבעים שונים וצילמתי לכן אותם "נקיים" כדי שתוכלו להתרשם ממראה ה"לפני" (חוץ מזה שאלו חלק מהקרמיים הפייבוריטים שלי אז קבלו המלצה על כולם על הדרך):

אצבע – Enchanted Forest של אורלי

אמה – מס' 32 של שיק.

קמיצה – Sorry Just Can't Help It של מיסה.

זרת – Can't Nobody Take Me Down גם הוא של מיסה.

מעל כולם הוספתי שכבה של Rainbow והתוצאה לפניכן !

התמונות משקפות את המראה שמתקבל אבל קחו בחשבון שכל פעם שאתן מזיזות את היד, רואים צבע אחר, כי זה משתנה בהתאם לתאורה ולזויות ובאופן אישי, אני הכי אהבתי את המראה שלו על השחור ועל הסגול J

הוא בהחלט מצטרף לרשימת הלקים הכי מיוחדים שיש לי.

רציתי לעדכן אתכן ששוק הלקים חזר לפעולה ואתן יכולות לחזור לעדכן בו ולראות עדכונים חדשים !

לכל הבנות שנרשמו לשוק הלקים בזמן התקלה – לפי מה שהבנתי, הוא שמר אוטומטית את כל הכניסות, אז אתן אמורות לראות את השם שלכן שם, וסליחה על העיכוב בהופעת ההודעה (זאת היתה תקלה בבלוגר שלא היתה בשליטתי).

A very sparkling haul !!!

Great seller, he has lots of the brands I like and in reasonable prices and the package arrived quick and without any problems.

The truth is that at first I planned to order just the Seche Restore and than I remembered that I need a new file….and I just couldn't resist some polishes…..hahaha

I ordered two that I especially wanted – OPI Catch Me In Your Net and Nubar Petunia Sparkle – They are adorable ! And it turned out that they are even more stunning when you see them in your hands ! They both got into my top polishes list without even blink !

If you like the colors, you've got to have them, they are so much prettier in reality !

Since this post turned out to be too long and I didn't want it to be too heavy, I'm showing you today the first polish and tomorrow I'll show you the second one.

OPI Catch Me In Your Net – This one is from the Summer Flutter collection for summer 2010. It's hard to exactly define it but we've already agreed that these hard-to-define polishes are the most special ones, right ?

So this is a blue-turquoise with golden-green glitter. When I first saw it in the bottle it seemed to me like duochrome but I'm not sure that this would be exact to say.

I'll make it easy and say that this one looks on the nails like a very glittery turquoise, but one you can't ignore J

Two coats were enough for me here, the third coat is an option but not a must. The application went smooth and the drying time was pretty quick.

I have to say that this was impossible to capture the exact color and I feel like the pictures are not doing justice to this one - it is way more deep and turquoise than it looks, so keep that in your mind.

אחלה מוכר, יש לו הרבה מהחברות שאני אוהבת ובמחירים סבירים והחבילה הגיעה מהר וללא בעיות.

האמת שבהתחלה תכננתי להזמין רק את טיפות הדילול של Seche למייבש שיש לי שלהם. ואז נזכרתי שאני צריכה גם פצירה....ואז פשוט לא יכולתי להתאפק מלהזמין גם לקים.....חחחחח

הזמנתי שניים (תודו שהפגנתי יכולת איפוק יפה הפעם) שקרצו לי במיוחד – Catch Me In Your Net של OPI ו- Petunia Sparkle של Nubar – תקשיבו, אין דברים כאלו ! הם התברו כאפילו מדהימים יותר במציאות ושניהם נכנסו בלי למצמץ אפילו לרשימת הטופ לקים שלי !

אם אתן אוהבות את הצבע, אתן פשוט חייבות להזמין אותם, כי הם הרבה יותר יפים באחד על אחד !

מכיוון שזה יצא קצת ארוך ולא רציתי שהפוסט יהיה כבד מדי, אני אראה לכן את הראשון ומחר אני אראה לכן את הלק השני.

Catch Me In Your Net – הלק הזה יצא במסגרת קולקציית Summer Flutter לקיץ 2010. קשה לתת הגדרה מדוייקת לצבע הזה אבל כבר הסכמנו שצבעים שקשים להגדרה הם הכי מיוחדים, נכון ?

אז זה מעין כחול-טורקיז עם נצנצים זהובים-ירוקים. הוא היה נראה לי גם כמו דואוכרום בבקבוק, אבל על היד טיפה פחות, אז אני לא סגורה על זה שהוא נכנס גם להגדרה הזאת.....

כהגרלי, אני אפשט את ההגדרה לטובת אלו מכן שהדקויות פחות מעניינות אותן ואגיד לכן שהוא נראה על היד כמו טורקיז עם נצנצים....אבל באמת אחד כזה שאי אפשר להתעלם ממנו J

שתי שכבות הספיקו לי כאן. השכבה השלישית אוטמת עוד קצת אבל לא הייתי אומרת שהיא מאסט. המריחה קלי קלות וזמן הייבוש די מהיר.

את הצבע הזה פשוט בלתי אפשרי לתפוס במדוייק והתמונות פשוט עושות לו עוול – הוא הרבה יותר עמוק וטורקיזי במציאות אז קחו את זה בחשבון.
