Little package in the mail

רק רציתי להראות לכן מה קיבלתי בדואר:

הזמנתי מאיביי פלטת ליפגלוסים ועיפרון ג'מבו לעיניים של ניקס – הזמנתי ממוכרת בשם joy017 והיא היתה מקסימה – המשלוח הגיע מהר והכל היה ארוז יפה.

העיפרון ג'מבו לעיניים הצליח להפתיע אותי ברכות שלו ובפיגמנט החזק – מנסיון שהיה לי עם כמה עפרונות כאלה, התרגלתי שצריך להפעיל עליהם יותר לחץ, אבל העיפרון הזה, ברגע שהוא רק נגע בעור שלי הוא ישר השאיר כתם צבע ונמרח כמו חמאה. מה שכן, צריך לקחת בחשבון שהוא די נמרח אז עדיף לקבע אותו כמו שצריך.

לליפגלוסים, בחרתי בפלטה של ניקס מס' LGP 02 The Naturals – יש שם שני צבעים קרמיים שמאוד אהבתי ועוד 3 שימריים שקצת פחות אהבתי, אבל הם נראים טוב כשמערבבים אותם. המרקם שלהם נעים ומלחח והם לא דביקים מדי או שומניים מדי.

אה, ואני רוצה להראות לכן גם את הלק החדש שקניתי – שיק מס' 278, צבע אפרפר מקסים, אני אשתדל להראות לכן סווטץ' שלו בימים הקרובים J

Just want to show you what I got in the mail:

I ordered from eBay a NYX lip gloss palette and a jumbo eye pencil - I ordered from a seller named joy017 and she was lovely – my order arrived fast and everything was well packed.

The jumbo eye pencil managed to surprise me in its softness and strong pigment – from my experience with other jumbo pencils I used to press more pressure on, but this pencil, as soon as it touched my skin it left a color stain and was like butter. What you do need to take in count, is that it smeared so you want to put something on it to prevent it.

For the lipglosses, I chose NYX no. LGP 02 The Naturals palette – there are 2 crèmes colors which I really like and 3 more shimmers that I less like but they look good when mixing them. The texture is nice and they're not too sticky or too oily.

Oh, and I want to show you a new polish I bought – Chic no. 278 – a charming grayish color, I'll try to show you its swatch in the next days J

Pink Sparkles in a hot day

במהלך הטיול בארה"ב, יצא לי להיכנס לכמה חנויות של Icing ולרכוש כמה לקים שלהם, וכך יצא לי שקניתי לי גם את הלק הזה. הבקבוק שלהם דומה מאוד לבקבוק של צ'יינה גלייז וראיתי שם גם כמה צבעים שנראו לי דומים מאוד לצבעים של צ'יינה גלייז. מבחינת פורמולה, הם מרגישים לי יותר פשוטים מאשר צ'יינה גלייז, אבל עדיין, אין שום בעיות מיוחדות במריחה וחלק מהצבעים שיש להם פשוט מעלפים בעיניי.

אז הנה אחד מהם – Icing Pink Sparkle – כשמו כן הוא, ורוד ניאוני מטורף עם נצנצים בכל צבעי הקשת. אין, פשוט אין לתאר כמה הלק הזה מדהים ומיוחד ומשמח לבב אנוש J

מריחה מעולה, אטום כמעט כבר בשכבה ראשונה כך שמי שממהרת בהחלט יכולה להסתפק בשכבה אחת ולמי שיש עוד טיפה זמן, שתי שכבות עושות לגמרי את העבודה. הוא מתייבש מהר והגימור שמתקבל הוא חצי מאט. יש בו המון נצנצים צבעוניים אבל יחד עם זאת, הם לא מאוד גסים ומתקבל מראה ממש בובתי.

התוצאה הסופית ממש מדליקה ומרעננת והתאימה לי בול ליום החם והמהביל הזה, אבל ראו הוזהרתן – הוא בהחלט נועז, אז לא לבעלות הלב החלש מביניכן J

הערה קטנה – המצלמה לא מצליחה לתפוס את זה, אבל קחו בחשבון שבמציאות הוא יותר זוהר מאשר בתמונות (תחשבו מרקר ורוד...)

Icing Pink Sparkle

During my visit in the U.S, I had the chance to enter several Icing stores and purchase some of their polishes, and so I bought this polish too. The Icing's bottles are very similar to the China Glaze's bottles and I saw there also some colors that seemed very similar to some of the China Glaze polishes I know. Formula wise, they feel more simple to me than CG, but still, I haven't noticed any special problems with their application and I think some of their colors are just fabulous.

So here's one of them - Icing Pink Sparkle – just like its name, this is a crazy neon pink with rainbow glitter. No, I just can't describe how stunning and special and cheerful this polish is J

The application was great, it's almost opaque after one coat so if you're in a rush you can do it with one coat, but if you have a little more time, two coats would definitely do the job. It dries quickly and the finish is half matte. It has tons of glitter but they are very subtle and you get a really doll-like look

The final result is so cool and refreshing and I was really happy with this look in this hot steaming day, but you have been warned – this is definitely a daring one, so it's not for those of you with a weak heart J

A small note – the camera can't capture it, but this polish is brighter than it shown in the pictures (think pink marker…)

Mix and Match #2

היום אני אראה לכן שיטה מעולה למיקס אנד מאץ' שתמיד עובד !

הרעיון – לצבוע חלק מהאצבעות בלק במרקם קרמי או שימרי וחלק מהאצבעות בלק נצנצים מאותו צבע.

אני אוהבת לשים את הלק נצנצים רק על הקמיצה, אבל בהחלט אפשר לעשות את זה עם אצבע כן אצבע לא. רצוי שהנצנצים יהיו בגוון קצת יותר בהיר או מעט שונה מהלק השני ורצוי גם שהם יהיו גדולים ולא עדינים, כדי ליצור את האפקט המירבי. חשוב גם שהנצנצים יתנו מרקם אטום ולא חצי שקוף, כך שבמידה ואין לכן לק כזה, תמרחו שכבה אחת מהלק גם על האצבע עם הנצנצים ועליה תמרחו את לק הנצנצים כדי לקבל מראה אטום.

למי שאין נצנצים צבעוניים, השיטה הזאת בדר"כ עובדת טוב גם עם אצבע אחת בנצנצים כסופים או זהובים (אני יודעת שיותר קל להשיג כאלה בארץ), תלוי בצבע שאתן שמות – למשל הלק הירוק הזה, היה יכול ללכת מצויין עם לק נצנצים זהוב.

המיקס הזה הוא לא מהנועזים שיש והוא תמיד יוצר מראה עם נוכחות ועניין, לא משנה באיזה צבע אני בוחרת לעשות אותו. אני יכולה לספר לכן שתמיד השילוב הזה קוצר אצלי המון מחמאות ותמיד מאוד כיף להסתובב איתו.

הפעם בחרתי להראות לכן שילוב שאני מאוד אוהבת – ללק הירוק השתמשתי ב- Enchanted Forest של אורלי – אחד מהירוקים האהובים עליי ביותר, במרקם קרמי, אטום אחרי שתי שכבות, למרות שבתמונה אתן רואות 3 שכבות ששמתי, כדי שיהיה קצת יותר כהה.

ללק הנצנצים השתמשתי ב – Green Confetti של Claire's שהוא לא אטום לגמרי, אז שמתי אותו מעל שכבה אחת של האורלי. כאן הייתי צריכה 2 או 3 שכבות כדי לקבל את האפקט המקסימלי של הנצנצים.

והתוצאה מדהימה בעיניי !

צירפתי לכן עוד מיקס אנד מאץ' שעשיתי בזמנו לתחרות – אמנם הוא יותר מושקע ועם דוגמת מחוך, אבל תורידו את הדוגמה ותקבלו מיקס מנצח בגווני סגול – במניקור הזה השתמשתי ב – Stella של צ'יינה גלייז ללק הסגול (אחד המהממים לדעתי) וב- Carnival Lights של צ'יינה גלייז לנצנצים.

Today I'll show you a great way for mix and match that always works !

The idea – to paint some of the nails with a crème or shimmery nail polish and some of the nails with a glitter polish in the same color. I love to apply the glitter polish just on the ring finger, but you can definitely do it with two fingers with glitter.

The glitter polish should be in a lighter shade or a bit different shade from the other color and you might want the glitter polish to be a chunky one and not delicate, to create the maximal effect. It's also important that the glitter polish would be opaque and not sheer, so if you don't have a glitter polish like that, you can apply one coat of the other polish and than apply the glitter polish on it to get an opaque look.

If you don't have a colorful glitter, this way also usually works good with silver or gold glitter, depend on the other color you apply – for example, this green polish will go great with gold glitter.

This is not one of the daring mixes and it always creates a look with presence and interest, doesn't matter what color I choose to do it. I can tell you that I always get compliments when I wear this mix and it's always really fun to wear it.

This time I chose to show you a mix that I really like – for the green polish I used Orly Enchanted Forest – one of my favorite greens, in a crème texture, opaque after 2 coats, although I used 3 coats this time to make it look a bit darker.

For the glitter polish I used Claire's Green Confetti which is not totally opaque, so I applied it over one coat of the green Orly. I needed 2 or 3 coats here to get the maximal effect of the glitter.

And I think the result is stunning !

I also added another mix and match I did at the time for the contest – although it's more fancy but take down the nail art and you get a winning mix in purples shades – for this mani I used China Glaze Stella for the purple polish (a total stunner for my opinion) and China Glaze Carnival Lights for the glitter polish.

Everyday Minerals !

תראו את החבילה המהממת הזאת שהזמנתי מאברידיי מינרלס !

זאת ההזמנה הראשונה שלי מהם ואני מאוד מאוד מרוצה !

הזמנתי את הסט שלהם לאיפור מעושן שנקרא " Smokey Eyes" שכולל 5 צלליות כהות לאיפור מעושן בגודל דוגמית ומברשת שנקראת "Eye Smudge Brush" ליצירת המראה המועשן.

הזמנתי גם שתי מברשות נוספות – אחת להנחת צלליות שנקראת "Eye Shadow Brush" והשניה קבוקית לפנים שנקראת "Long Handle Kabuki Brush".

בנוסף, בכל הזמנה אפשר לבחור מתנה – סט דוגמיות של צלליות/ סומק/פודרה/מייקאפ/קונסילר וכו'. בחרתי בסט של המייקאפים שלהם, שמגיע עם 4 דוגמיות של מייקאפ בהתאם לגוון העור שבוחרים.

החבילה הגיעה ארוזה למופת, הכל בסגנון מאוד "טבעי" וארוז בנפרד. הסט המעושן מגיע עם קופסה קטנה שבתוכה נמצאות הצלליות ואני פשוט התאהבתי באריזות J

כל הדוגמיות מגיעות בקופסה קטנה, מאוד נוחה לשימוש ובגודל ממש מכובד לדוגמית – ממש התרשמתי מהכמות שהם שמים בדוגמיות, אם זה לשימוש פרטי, זה בהחלט מספיק להרבה שימושים.

המברשות רכות מאוד וממש נעימות ונוחות לשימוש ונראה לי שאני אזמין לעצמי עוד כמה.

גם המחירים היו מאוד נוחים ותהליך ההזמנה מאוד נוח ומהיר.

Look at this gorgeous package I ordered from Everyday Minerals !

This my first order from them and I'm very very pleased !

I ordered their "Smokey Eyes" set, which includes 5 sample size dark eyeliners for smoky eyes look and their Eye Smudge Brush.

I also ordered two more brushes – the Eye Shadow brush and the Long Handle Kabuki brush.

In addition, in each order you can choose a free gift – samples set of eyeshadows / blushes / concealers / bases etc.

I chose the bases set, which comes with 4 differents bases samples, according to the skin tone you choose.

The package was well packed, everything in a very "natural" style and separately packed. The Smokey Eyes set arrives with a beautiful little box, with the eyeliners inside, and I just fell in love with the packing J

All the samples arrives in a tiny box, very comfortable to use and in a decent amount – I was really impressed by the amount of eyeshadows they give in the samples, if you need it for a private use, it's really enough for many uses.

The brushes are so soft and very nice and comfortable to use and I think I'm going to order some more.

Mix & Match for the weekend !

היום הקדמתי והכינותי מראש את המניקור שלי לסוף השבוע J

והפעם בסימן מיקס אנד מאץ' !

שיטת המיקס אנד מאץ' עובדת נהדר עם לקים ורמת התעוזה הנדרשת יכולה להשתנות בהתאם לבחירות שנעשות. את המיקס אפשר לעשות עם צבעים שונים או עם מרקמים שונים או גם וגם. הפעם אני מראה לכן מיקס גם עם צבעים וגם עם מרקמים – 4 אצבעות בצבע סגול במרקם קרם ואצבע אחת בצבע אדום במרקם נצנצים אלוהי. אני מאוד אוהבת את השילוב הזה של לק קרמי עם אצבע אחת עם נצנצים – זה מוסיף כל כך הרבה חיות למניקור ! והמיקס הזה של שני הלקים האלו מושלם בעיניי !

ללק הסגול השתמשתי ב – Risque Primavera-verao שקיבלתי בחבילה מאנה – סגול כהה יחסית במרקם קרמי. המריחה היתה מאוד קלה אבל גם קצת טריקית כי הלק הוא די נוזלי, אז צריך לדאוג כל הזמן שיש כמות נכונה של לק על המברשת. חוץ מהקטע הזה שהלק קצת נוזלי, אני ממש מרוצה משני הלקים של Risque שאנה שלחה לי – הצבעים ממש יפים ובגימור מבריק מקסים. 3 שכבות נדרשו כדי להגיע למראה אטום.

ללק האדום השתמשתי ב- China Glaze Ruby Pumps הנצחי – אחד הלקים היחידים שזוכים אצלי לשימוש חוזר ולא נמאסים עליי. אדום כהה יחסית, מלאאאאאא בנצנצים אדומים בהירים יותר שמעניקים לו עומק מדהים ומרקם מנצח. בשביל להגיע לאפקט המקסימלי נדרשות 3 שכבות לפחות.

Risque - Primavera-verao

China Glaze - Ruby Pumps on the ring finger

This is the mani I chose for this weekend !

And this time it's in mix and match style !

The mix and match method works great with polishes and the daring level that is required can change according to the choices that are being made. The mix can be done with different colors or different textures or both. This time I show you a mix I made with both colors and textures – 4 fingers in a crème purple and one finger in a fabulous red glitter. I really love this combination of a crème polish with one glitter finger – it makes the mani so much more alive ! And the mix of these two is perfect in my opinion !

For the purple polish I used Risque Primavera-verao that I received in the package from the lovely Ana – a pretty dark purple in a crème texture. The application was easy but a bit tricky because the polish is pretty runny, so you need to make sure that you have the right amount of polish on the brush. Beside that fact, I'm really pleased with those two Risque polishes Ana has sent me – the colors are gorgeous and the finish is glossy and beautiful. 3 coats were needed to get an opaque look.

For the red polish I use the eternal China Glaze Ruby Pumps – one of the single polishes I keep returning to and I don't get enough. A pretty dark red, loaded with lither red glitter which give it an amazing depth and a winning finish. You need at least 3 coats to get to the maximal result.
