מכיוון שהפוסט היום ארוך במיוחד, ומאחר ואני חייבת לכתוב אותו גם באנגלית (כפי שתבינו בהמשך), אני אחרוג היום ממנהגי ואכתוב רק באנגלית.

The lovely Janet from Revlon has sent me these artificial nails from Revlon Runway Collection, to try them out. I usually don't wear artificial nails, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but when I got my package, with 7 packs of different designed nails, I thought to myself that this is a good excuse for a ......party !!! …lol
So…last Friday we gathered together and had a little Revlon nails party…and by we, I mean my mom, my sister, my brother's girlfriend, a family friend, her brother and his girlfriend (and if you wonder what about the guys – they were in the other room, with their Playstation 3, glad that they have some quiet time to play…lol)
I took a close pictures of all the designs, so you can see how gorgeous they are – I
love each one of them !
Every pack includes 24 nails that come in 12 different sizes, a bottle of nails glue and an orange stick. The application process is really easy and quick – First, you have to choose the right nails that fits your natural nail base (the fact that it comes with different sizes is very helpful). After you chose the nails that fits best to your natural nails, you apply some glue on your natural nail (don't apply the glue on your entire nail - it spreads) and than press the artificial nail firmly for about 10 sec.
I loved their length – that was a perfect length for me, not too long and not too short, and I loved the fact that they are pretty thin so it is the closest "natural nail feeling" as you can get (although no can no do, natural nails are always more comfortable to me).
Back to our little party – my sister has an acrylic nails, so she didn't use these ones, but since she is our "expert" to fake nails, she was in charge on gluing everyone's nails J
Our friend and my brother's girlfriend were first – they didn't have any problem and their nails looked perfect with these nails – a very natural and clean look
I had a little problem with mine, probably because of my flat nail structure – I had air bubbles. We tried different ways of gluing, but they still were there. I read about similar experience on http://gettinnailed.blogspot.com/ , but although it was a bit disappointing, they still looked great from far and you could notice this just if you're looking very close.
My mom had a different problem - she is a "biter" (she bites her nails), and since these nails are very sheer, you could see through them the fake part. Again, from far they looked great and you couldn't notice that, only if you looked close. My mom suggested that they will make some nails with another base, that won't be so sheer, for biters like her.

These are my nails after 7 days (!!) including cleaning, cooking and showers (:-) ) – the prints on the tips were a bit off, but you could have notice that just in a close-up like this – they looked great and were very comfortable ! I was really surprised that they lasted so long - that was awesome J
The less fun part was to remove them…lol….I used an acetone at first and than I discovered that hot water did a better job for me – So my advice is to soak them in hot water for about 15 minutes.
Well, you have to know my nails already....lol
We all thought that our nails look beautiful with these nails, we loved the designs and everyone agreed that they looked very delicate and natural – so I can definitely say that our little nails party was a success – so thank you Revlon J
These nails are also a great solution if you have an event and want your nails to look organized and painted in 5 minutes – it is ideal for situations like this !
And if someone there reads it – I would really want to ask you to make another collection of these nails, with more colors and nail art ! I think that colored nails would solved the "biters problem" and the air bubbles problem, and since I love nail art, and I know that there are many girls like me that love nail art but don't know to do it themselves – I would LOVE to wear some of your artificial nails with sophisticated nail art ( not just French manicure).
And here are some more pictures from the "party" J
