I recently received two new products from Revlon to review on my blog – a lipstick from their Colorburst collection and an eyeshadow from their Luxurious Color Eye Shadow for summer 2010.
Since the post became to be very long, I'll bring you the first part of the review today and I'll post the second part during the week.
Let's begin with the lipstick, which is from Revlon Colorburst Lipstick collection.
Well, First, It has a lovely package and I fell in love with it at the moment I saw it.
The one I received to review is Blush and it's kind of a delicate pinkish nude, very very natural. I can pretty much define it as MLBB (my lips but better) because it looks so natural on the lips, almost like their natural color, and it will look great with different styles of makeup but also without makeup at all.
The only thing that bothered me a little is that it has a slight of shimmer in it and I prefer my lipsticks just crèmes, but the shimmer is not very sensed (not like a regular shimmer lipstick) and I can forgive it for that. The pigment here is good and as you can see in my swatches, although we're talking about a very natural color, it still shown on my hand.
It has a great texture, very soft and has a moisturizing creamy feel. It applies smoothly and leaves a very soft and not sticky feeling on the lips, reminds me my lip balm.
I can't really tell you how long it lasted on my lips because I did drink and smoke a lot lately, add this to the fact that it's a pretty nude color from the beginning, and see how it was hard for me to tell when the lipstick ends and my lips begin J
Overall, I'm very pleased with this lipstick, it has a good pigment and leaves the lips soft and moisturized, the package is lovely and with 15 different shades in this collection, I'm sure that everyone can find at least one shade she like.
